I worry when I go into a place at dinner and there's only one couple. Got chicken enchiladas nothing special. Beans no cheese melted on top. Rice was good. My problem is why was the plate so flipping hot. I mean like ten minutes after the food arrived. It was still hot. Enchiladas definitely got heated by that warmer light. These enchiladas were not made fresh. They got re -wamed I believe by the heat light. Maybe just a off night

Has become a weekly stop... consistently good always end splitting a fried ice cream. Service is always good. There is this one waitress there that busts her butt. I thought she was an owner or in the family, so I asked.... She said no, just a worker... I hope she is paid well... she's running that place.

So disappointed. To add guacamole to a nacho, or to even order a side of guacamole is $6.00. We didn't even check on the prices of other add ons. This establishment is disappointing . As a vegetarian, I'm always looking for new Mexican restaurants to try due to the South-of-the-border cocina being so friendly to those of us who like to avoid meat and dairy. Thank goodness I happen to reside in an area where there are cantinas popping up everywhere like frijoles saltarines! Even better when the food is so delicioso, as it was at Rancho Grande.The waitress started us with the traditional tortilla chips and two sauces: mild and hot. I always go for the hot one personally. Everyone else went for the mild so more heat for me! I had no problem finishing off almost the entire bowl of chips and sauce while I waited on the main entree which was bean enchiladas and rice. Well what can I say? The enchiladas were magnífico! The red sauce they use on them really brings out the flavors of the beans and tortillas. I had a slightly difficult time finishing them due to to the large portion size, as is to be expected at a Mexican restaurant, so make sure you come to Rancho Grande with an appetite! The service was good but a little slow because only one waitress was working. The prices are very fair and you will leave very full with a reasonable tab. If you love Mexican food and you're ever down on Middlebelt in Garden City, don't pass up Rancho Grande!

Chimichanga: Flat and thin instead of rolled like a burrito. Chicken is not a fair amount for the price I paid. The flavor is lacking and has very strong tomato paste taste in the meat.Fajitas: Steak is tough, tough, tough! They cooked tomatoes in with it? So, there's a high tang of tomato that was not pleasing to me.Chicken burritos: They were okay. The chicken, once again, was seasoned or whatever with a very tangy, tomato flavor. Not particularly yummy. Seasoning is lacking.There is no need or reason for my family to order here again.

Never been here, never coming back. Where is our food for $40? Ordered A Chicken Chimichanga (Deep fried) Dinner, Steak Fajitas Dinner & Chicken Burritos Dinner. My chicken Chimichanga was just Chimichanga (No Chicken). $12 for that effort was a RIP off. The chicken is grey, under seasoned & I don't understand why everything from the rice to the hot sauces tasted like tomato sauce. Then my wife's poor Steak Fajita meat was so tough & for $14...Where's the Beef for 4 wraps? Every bite I took fought back & once again with the tomatoe In everything...Never seen soggy tomatoes already mixed in with the tough steak Fajita meat. My son said the meat in the chicken Burritos are too tangy. So you already know it's too much tomato sauce in everything. Their portions need to lift weights for real. No Thank You

Food is fresh no canned food or bagged vegies. Like there combo plates. Used to go to Mex. Fiesta and wait for a table no more I have found my spot. Leave feeling full not Bloated from processed food u get at other nearby mexican restaurants.
