Sometimes it's good to go back and try an old friend, restaurant wise. Rams Horn and Horn of Plenty, if you remember that place, was our go to places after the bar. It's just a basic old fashioned family restaurant/diner that still knocks out simple, good food with old school ambiance.Went back for the first time in years, decades really. First time back, I had their imitator burger. It's their version of the Big Boy double decker burger. Honestly, it tastes better than the original.Went back again this week and had their spinach and feta omelette. I was debating whether to get their avocado omelette. But that had bacon on it, which is fine, but I wasn't in the mood for at the time. The waitress said they could put avocado on top of the spinach and feta omelette... SOLD! It was very good and highly recommend it.This is one of those places you can easily forget about when you're looking to grab something to eat. But do yourself a favor, don't forget about places like this if you just want good food that's inexpensive and served by friendly people.

This is the third time I've been to the restaurant & I will not be back. The fact the the place is always empty should have been the first sign. Today I ordered a Gyro & was told that I couldn't just get a sandwich that I had to get fries as well... So I paid over $11.00 for a sandwich with 4 strips of lamb meat that was so dehydrated I couldn't even eat it! Since I'm at work, I was unable to return the food. Also, when I walked in, my food was just sitting on the counter. So, you ask me to tip the wait staff on a to go order that I had to carry to the register & then wait to be rang up while 2 waitresses walk right past me? Nope!

So after we feasted at some other restaurant. I was already somewhat late and after a big meal, coffee is something that my body crave. You know, the anti itis medicine. That and maybe some dessert. So we come in, it's a little bit of a "blast in the past" inside. The dining area is definitely in need of a makeover. But none the less. We were seated right away and glass of water followed shortly after. I pretty much just wanted coffee, but their dessert menu was really calling my name. Hot fudge puff for the win.I had a great time having some end of the night conversation with my hubby and mother in law here. We were well taken cared of. Our waters were refilled, coffee was topped off and my dessert was incredible. I would not hesitate to come back if given the chance.Thank you so much for reading my review. I recently started coming here and honestly the food and service have been very good every time. On today's visit, the waitress (who was by herself) was extremely nice to all of the customers, however, she was so incredibly rude and condescending to the cook, that it made me very uncomfortable and annoyed. I realized she was probably stressed, but that was unacceptable. I really should have just left, but I didn't. I actually left a little bit of a larger tip, hoping that some of it would go to the cook, I felt so bad for him. I probably won't go back.

ordered some cabbage soup. i taste better i have made at home. the cook they have there needs to learn how to make stuff. i should have stayed home and saved the money i spent. And another thing i had to put my coat on to eat it was 69 in there i don't think ill . be back .years ago, it was nice.it was like sitting outside to eat try turning up the heat

the waitstaff was amiable enough when we first arrived, seeing how we had a big group. But however, as the night went on, a certain wait staff member was very rude to us, and kept making rude remarks, even though they claimed that they were all joking, our evening was ruined, and the food was sub par at best. My waitress was awesome but the cook was a jerk. I could hear him arguing with the waitress just because she asked for something. If you having a bad day,stay home. Not to mention the young lady held the whole floor down all while keeping confusion down. Thank u so much. I believe her name was Paula but my father died and I was waiting on my car to be finished with maintenance. She was very welcoming and kept my coffee coming. The turkey burger was ok but I wouldn't order it again.
