The best Mexican food ever. We have been eating here for years .sooo many good things .the birria noodles are the best thing ever made.

My mind is blown that the reviews on this place are so good. I ordered 2 sets of authentic tacos birria and pastor w/ cilantro and onion a burrito we pass, rice and beans, chips and guac, and an elote. One bite of everything and it is all in the trash. Corn tortilla were cold, stale like crumbled apart. ALL the food lacked any bit of flavor. Rice was hard like it was old and reheated without moisture. Tortilla chips were so hard. Even the guac lacked flavor how is that possible?! My spouse who eat everything only took three bites of his burrito and threw it away he said the steak was so tough it was hard to chew. I would say maybe this was a fluke but for EVERYTHING to lack flavor there is no mistake. The ONLY thing with flavor was the salsa verde, it was thick and tasted good. Elote the corn was soggy not crispy very watery lacked the proper amount of mayo and cheese ratio. Also bland probably due to the corn sitting in the juices for too long. I wouldn't come back even if it was free. $42 wasted and still hungry and lunch break is over.

Just ok for me. My bf and I ordered 4 tacos to share. 2 chorizo, 1 chicken & 1 beef for carryout. Once I got home I realized they gave me a beef instead of a chicken, and something else instead of chorizo (not sure what). I'd like to see enchiladas and tamales on the menu. Flavor was just ok also, not wowed and I didn't like the chips.Not sure if I'll try again.

Unassuming place yet absolutely incredible! With a party of 12, we tried a lot of things and everything was beyond amazing. Fresh, perfectly prepared, and the service was so friendly and kind. It's really too bad. Wish we lived closer, but anytime we're out this way, this is at the top of the list!!

Awesome food, service and atmosphere. It wasn't super crowded when we came thankfully but it did feel lively. My red tacos were so crunchy and flavorful, and the consomme on the side was exquisite. Wasn't expecting to find a place like this in Royal Oak

Popped in here for a late lunch my carryout was ready and all packed up to go on time. The food was hot and generous portions. The steak was cooked well and I enjoyed it with the consume I ordered on the side. Tacos didn't come with rice and beans but added it on for $2.39. Also ordered the corn in a cup which I expected just the top to be seasoned good but the whole thing was mixed through and hit the spot. Definitely need to keep this in the lunch rotations

I had wanted to try this place for quite some time. It was pretty good a nice place to have a quick taste. Really small inside.

My favorite location of the two. I got my ole' faithful, combo 2 which includes 3 red tacos and a drink. I ordered 1 shrimp, 1 pastor and 1 carne asada red taco topped with cilantro and onions with Sidral Mundet (apple flavored Soda) as a drink. I love how full body flavorful the protein is, making every bite delicious especially when salsa verde is added. I always get a side of house made guacamole to pair with the chips and salsa. Great service, lowkey environment and ambiance, only thing missing on this trip was my guy Gustavo !!!!

Great little restaurant with super tacos! Try the red taco combo with consomme. The California burrito was good too, and huge.
