It is a lovely store, and the idea is good... and glad that someone is trying something like this in Dearborn. Overall they have good grass-fed meats, local dairy and eggs, etc. The prices hurt quite a bit, actually. This is what keeps me from going here all that often. Plus, as others have mentioned, the selection is pretty limited. The location is also difficult to get to - you really have to work your route to be going east on Ford Rd, or come in from the back neighborhood. The staff here has been friendly to me - not sure what happened when Liz W went in there. Bummer.Unfortunately, I just don't see myself going here all that often until the selection increases and the price decreases. I want to support businesses in Dearborn, but my wallet can't be empty to do so.

I like the idea but not the execution. The good: You can get free range and organic products. I love that I can buy things like duck eggs and real chicken eggs you do not need to refrigerate. They run good deals on poultry and feature cool things you may not find elsewhere. The meh: They do not stock well. Call ahead or pre-order if you absolutely must have something or you just want to make sure you are not driving across town for no good reason. There are no guarantees that even a thing they wrote on their facebook page will still be there at the end of the day. The deep sigh: They are not terribly friendly or welcoming. Maybe this is just to me as a newbie but it doesn't encourage further stops.I'd swing by again but only if in the area (which I am as I work in the area) and I would call ahead if I actually really needed something.

Someone on the Yelp talk boards mentioned this company had a Groupon available. I'd never heard of the company (they're relatively new) but bought the Groupon for $15 for $30 worth of organic meats... good deal.My husband and I first stopped by on a Monday night. The place was dead, save for an older gentleman behind the register. I said we had a Groupon and his response was "Monday is the WORST day to shop here!" Um, wow. That was a little brash. I asked him if we should return the Groupon (a little offended by his remark) and he sensed I was upset and calmly explained that they sell out of most meats during the weekend, especially with the Groupon promotion. He welcomed us to look around but they didn't have much available. We checked out the small retail space but had a bad taste in our mouths from the ornery cashier. We left without purchasing anything. We decided to visit this past Wednesday around 6:30pm. An older woman walked up to the door to unlock it (even though they're open until 7) and went back to sit behind the counter. We walked in and she was counting her register already. She didn't bother greeting us. I asked if they were still open and she didn't even look up and scowled "Until 7." We just walked out.The idea behind this place is great but the lack of customer service soft skills is appalling. I requested a refund from Groupon and will not be returning to the business.

Great great great shop. Glad to see there is a location near me. Lady behind the counter works Mondays and Saturdays (can't remember her first name but last name resembles Ferrari) and she walked me through the whole store, explaining nearly every product. It was my first time and she made it a wonderful experience because I had a lot of questions. We talked for an hour and she sold me on so many things I'm ecstatic to start trying! Can't wait till this location expands and incorporates produce and more product. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

Very little selection. What they had for meat was frozen and not very well. I redeemed my groupon on May 25th. Silly me didn't check the sell by date on my eggs until I got home??? They were stamped May 2nd. I bought the groupon for the deal in hopes to find quality product worth driving 20 miles for.

I have been a regular customer for a couple of years. They have the best quality meat in Michigan. Although the ambience is not beautiful, the food for sale is healthier and tastier than anything you can find in a regular grocery store or butcher shop. The freezers are well stocked with local grass fed beef and farm animals raised without hormones, antibiotics or GMO feed. They even sell local farm raised elk and deer. These are not your factory farmed products found in every other grocery store. This store caters to healthy living. I have found the store clerks to be helpful and gracious, but I am not there to be fawned over. I am there for the healthy local protein. Oh, and the wild Alaskan salmon is great too.

I like what this store offers but they sold us $11 rancid, expired beef tallow. we bought it in mid January and it expired in late December. when we cooked it it smelled so intensely gross i almost vomited. then we thought to check the expiration and we're very disappointed.

I love this store. They have a great selection of quality meat and dairy which is what I have the most trouble finding in other stores. The vegetable section is not very big, but I assume they get mostly seasonal veggies. They also have a lot of great shelf foods including Paleo, vegan, etc. I haven't been there since the pandemic started but I hope they continue to grow do well and stock good stuff!
