Pope's Pizzeria

I just had to share a review on my last pizza & salad from Pope's Pizza! Again...so good!! This time I ordered their stuffed crust pizza. I ordered pepperoni, sausage, bacon & yellow pepper with garlic butter & sesame seed crust. With a Greek salad with bacon & no tomato or onions. It was FABULOUS!! I thought of stopping at a fast food place but these days, they are so expensive & it's only one meal. I ate all of the salad that I ordered and I have left over pizza for a couple of days!! That's getting your monies worth! Re-heat or eat it cold...it's all good!I highly recommend Pope's Pizzeria! BEST in Monroe!!

Poorly made. Did not follow instructions. Was the best spot in Monroe. We ordered extra meat, no extra meat, ordered extra sauce with our breadsticks no extra sauces, ordered a grilled sandwich no meat and made not to order. Delivery took 20 minutes longer than they quoted. Bad.

As their Facebook page no longer lets customers leave reviews, and they deleted mine and others honest reviews, I'll leave guidance on Yelp instead. The pizza was on par with a $5 Little Caesar's, but the salad was nearly inedible with cold and mushy tomatoes and hunks of iceberg. They gave packets of dressing. The pizza was okay, but there are so many better options. For the pizza and salad, our bill was almost $30. It wasn't worth it. Plus, the owner verbally attacked me on their FB page when I gave my feedback.

Mediocre pizza, mediocre salad, and overpriced.Pair that with the a manager who has no idea how to treat customers as he acts like a keyboard warrior and mocks individuals who dislike his product via social media.Additionally, anyone who dare defies the 'greatness' of Pope's must fall victim to being told what to do by the manager's father (also via social media).Do yourselves a favor and avoid this pizzeria like no other, go for Tiffany's, Monroe Pizza Kitchen, or Giuseppe's! At least there they will give you bang for your buck and allow you to be treated like a human!

0 stars! DO NOT RECOMMEND! I'm a door dasher and the employee, whom I was told was the owner, screamed at me like a damn banshee because my replacement hot bag hasn't arrived yet and he expected me to deny the order and ruin my perfect acceptance rate. I DID NOT REFUSE to deliver the pizza, he refused to let me take the pizza and when I wouldn't refuse the order on my end he started screaming and cussing me. I will from now on deny any order I get from that horrible place. And their food smells like it came out of the garbage heap.

In an effort to support local small businesses we tried Pope's tonight for the first time. They did not disappoint. The pizza and mozzarella bread were top shelf. Please give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

If I could give less than 1 star, believe me, I would. Worst pizza in history and the worst manager/owner in history. We won't even go into how he boasts about having "Chicago style pizza". That is a whole lie by itself. He has awful customer service, and his personality is low-key disgusting and suspect. I made the mistake of ordering again from his establishment for my anniversary dinner, and he purposely ruined our pizza. Then, when I called him, he was rude and ill-mannered toward me over the phone, and he offered no help whatsoever. Basically, he made me, the customer, out to be a liar. If my pizza had been fine, why the heck would I be calling him? but I digress. He then told me he personally made my pizza and that he KNOWS it is just the way I ordered it. I was literally looking at that crap pizza right in front of me as I was speaking to him. I could see that he did not put on it what I asked, the bottom of the crust was burnt, and toppings were missing and well as it wasn't hot, and just looked like trash. He finally said he would not be refunding my money, nor would he be re-making a pizza for me. He hung on me after that. Wow. GREAT customer service, no? What a loser and a jerk!That puta pendejo owes me $30. He basically stole $30 from me by not delivering what I ordered, nor having the willingness to make it right since it was HIS fault that it was incorrect and disgusting. My husband and son went to return the pizza to the restaurant and to request a refund in person, or for him to at least make the pizza over again. He had never seen me or my family before, but he instantly started telling my husband and son as they came through his door that they weren't welcome there, that we are all banned from coming there ever again, and that he wasn't re-making the pizza or refunding my money. When my husband tried to talk to him further, the loser said he felt personally threatened and began trying to call the police on my husband and son. What a waste of skin! I hope his little mediocre business shuts down and never reopens. He doesn't deserve to have even 1 customer. He deserves NO ONE'S business or patronage. He is pathetic and so is his food and service. YUCK! Disgusting!

We decided to try popes since it was local and we used to LOVE vitos the old pizza place there. The manager or owner verbally degraded my boyfriend as soon as he walked in when he came to pick up the pizza. He gets the pizzas home and one was cold and soggy almost wet under the crust.. and it was the same dough/crust as a 5 dollar little Caesars pizza.. fast forward to the next day, my son, my boyfriend, and myself all have really bad stomach cramps and well you know what comes with that.. Never againAdded a picture of our for real texts about how the pizza has made us sick..

my pizza had raw dough, so i called to get replacement pizza. management hung up on me when i tried to get my money back. the pizza was gross

I want to start by saying that the 1star reviews almost stopped me from ordering this pizza. This pizza is phenomenal! We ordered the stuffed crust, mozz bread, and cinnamon apple pizza. Everything is cooked to perfection! The staff was extremely pleasant. I did research on some of the 1 star reviews and it seems like a lot of the individuals only give bad reviews. Try this place! It was worth the 25 min drive!
