Cute Northside eatery with a varied menu of Japanese favorites! Tried the lunch menu with a friend, and wanted to try the namesake - sushi and chicken. I got their poke bowl, which comes with an option of two fish, crab salad, seaweed salad, edamame, avocado, ginger, cucumber, and a side of sauce (which the bowl honestly didn't even need as the fish tasted fresh and flavors were great)! My friend got the tonkatsu bento box which was beautiful and had all kinds of goodies in it. Then we also got an order of popcorn chicken to share, and ordered "half and half" flavors to try both the honey butter and soy garlic. This was a lot of chicken! We ended up needing to take most of it home. Very tasty though. We both liked the honey butter best. Both our meals came with complimentary miso soup and cucumbers! Was not too busy on a Weds during lunch. Parking on site! Next time I would love to try their snow snow dessert, but we were just too full this time.

In a shopping center with its own parking lot -Yay! Ordered popcorn chicken with sweet spicy sauce, Futo maki roll, spicy California roll, Mexican roll, kimchi ($2), house salad and seaweed salad too. $60.69The house salad, seaweed salad, kimchi are all okay. The kimchi is much more sour than I was expecting, The popcorn chicken is so-so, breading is a bit heavy to me. Lots of void breading with no chicken in it. Sriracha isn't the green bottle, Huy Fong brand at all, tasted off. We decided to eat our rolls without it as it ruined the flavors of the rolls instead of enhancing them. The futomaki is bland and cold. The spicy California is decent with added cream cheese ($0.75) and green onions. The Mexican roll is pretty good, but I feel it would have been better with the roll fried and then topped with a slice of fresh jalapeño instead of the pickled jalapeño. Then again I am not a fan of pickled jalapeño at all. Service from our second waitress was much warmer than the first waitress that seated us, she was nice enough, but didn't smile or seem as friendly.

Plenty of free parking. I ordered the vegetarian bento box. It came with miso soup and a light cucumber salad. The bento box had a very nice variety and the portions were generous. I didn't expect the agadashi tofu to be part of a stir fry, but it was still good. The restaurant is open and clean.

Service was great! And I was super surprised and so happy that the sushi roll I had was really good! I kept it simple and only got the Caterpillar roll - very good! I would definitely go back again and try more items. The small (free) parking lot is super nice. Inside is very clean and they even have a (newer) updated outdoor sign. I think there might be some tables outside to enjoy the nice weather too that I didn't see when I first entered the restaurant. I will definitely be back!

Everything was great! The staff were very nice and friendly, very helpful especially with our dinner party! The food came out quickly and was very delicious. They even helped us out with our birthday celebration and overall was a wonderful dining experience. Not sure why I waited so long to try this place but looks like it will become a regular spot for me! We tried the popcorn chicken bento box which had enough food for at last 2 people. The chicken itself was very flavorful. It also had a california roll, white rice, shrimp tempura, edamame and few other small appetizers. We also tried a tempura california roll. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The space inside is clean and the service was very friendly.

Great food and service, even on a busy Friday night. We were seated immediately and asked for our drink orders. After just enough time to read the menu, our server came by to take our order. Miso soup and a cucumber salad came a minute or so later. Best miso soup we can remember. Dinner arrived soon after we finished our soup. Sushi and stir fry were delicious! Prices were very reasonable for a wonderful meal.

Really good sushi, I got the UofM roll, and the Yellowtail scallion roll. Both were really fresh and tasty. Their miso soup is also really good and a generous portion compared to other places in AA. Staff is really friendly, place is nice and spacious.
