Some friends of ours had raved to my husband about this place and for a good couple of weeks he kept saying "we gotta go!" Finally, on Friday night, our schedules aligned and we decided to pop in for a bite. I've been craving it ever since! The menu isn't huge, they have several woodfired pizza options, a couple of salads, focaccia, some herbed cheese bread, and 6 set pizza options and one special of the week. I went with the Funghi, a white pizza topped with wild mushrooms, rosemary-garlic oil, mozzarella, and ricotta. My husband opted for a traditional, but delicious, pepperoni. Both were excellent. Now, the pies aren't huge. They're definitely single serve and you're not going to walk out with leftovers, but to me that was perfect. We initially picked two different options so we could split them half and half, but in the end we both liked our own orders so much we had a hard time sharing, though I did take a bite of the pepperoni (for science, of course) and it was great. Admittedly I'm not always great at finishing my crusts. As much as I love carbs (and I do love carbs!) pizza crusts rarely grab me. I joke that for me crust it's just a vehicle for cheese and toppings and I'd rather have more of those than fill up on bread. That said, oh mama the crust at PizzaPazza is SO good!! Between a really well made, flavorful dough and the woodfiring, it really hits the spot. I definitely polished mine off. They're a small spot located inside the Kerrytown markets. Most of the seating is counter or bar height. I was freezing cold and loved the idea of warming up by their woodfire stove so we bellied up to the bar there. For stools, they were quite comfortable and I loved watching the pies go in and out of the fire. Note: there's a bit of a cross scent from the Monaghan's fish counter when sitting over in that corner but it didn't bother me. But if you're not a seafood person you may want to stick to the otherside of the space. They're also super quick, so if you're looking for a quick, but delicious, place to eat this is perfect. For something a little more elevated, head over to Everyday Wines and grab a bottle to pair with your pie.

Very busy Saturday, but they were fast, which was a pleasant surprise. Our party ordered the food to go and chose to eat at a table nearby.I chose the cheese bread. The dough was unique and fluffy and it was a plentiful amount. However, for me it was overly-seasoned.The seating was decent, for public seating. It was very loud, but that's expected.Overall a charming experience.

This place makes flavorful, wood fired pizzas. I had the funghi and the mushrooms were wonderful.The kids had pepperoni and margherita, which were both delicious as well. There's something about that crisp, smokey flavor that you can't get from a gas oven.The service was prompt and the pizzas came out in a reasonable time frame.The ambience is quaint inside the building, but it was packed, so we had to go to the adjacent "dining area", which felt like eating at a mall food court.We would go back next time we're in town.

Fantastic and quick woodfired pizza. If you arrive with an appetite I would definitely recommend a pizza per person. You'll have no problem finishing a whole one off.

Forgot to post prior review, the attached pictures are from two different visits. The pizza here is very good. They have premade salads in the refrigerator. Service is quick and the ambience inside Kerrytown is good. You can usually get a glass of wine or beer from the wine shop next door. Overall neat little pizza place. We are regulars.

Quick note - we went here because we were misinformed about the serving times of another restaurant in the Kerrytown Market & Shops.Food: The pizza was delicious. I had the sausage and peppers. Sausage was very flavorful and there was plenty of it on the pizza. The peppers tasted fresh. The dough was great. All in all, a fantastic pizza! My son had the pepperoni and enjoyed his so much that he wants us to come back. My daughter had the margherita pizza, and was less enthused, but I think it was her first of that kind of pizza.Service: The people we interacted with were friendly and efficient. Absolutely no complaints.Ambiance: We ate at the long tables next to the pizzeria, and it was very much a farmer's market vibe.

Cute little stand inside the market on 5th. Go all the way to the back and find the wood burning oven. Great selection of pizzas and a GF crust is available. Really cool atmosphere. Order, grab a seat, and your food is ready in 8 minutes. Cool place

I've been here and it's great. The one star review is obviously upset over a one off situation and lacks the EQ to rectify within themselves problems. The pizza is really solid and the ambiance is great. You have the option to take the pizza to go, or to eat it there in their very small seating area. About thirty feet away from this is also a wine store which happily allows you to buy a bottle of wine and drink it with your pizza. Such a fun option. If you don't like a lot of people, or Neapolitan style pizza. This isn't the place for you. If you want to grab a good sized Neapolitan pizza and some wine this might be your spot.

Terrible ambience and terrible service, I have never met a ruder owner than the one at this place. If you want more customers, learn how to be nicer to the people around you .

Absolutely amazing customer service from the employees!! I was helped by Josh and Isaiah and they were lovely! I would highly recommend this establishment if you are visiting the area. There is a beautiful wine shop right by it as well where they allow you to purchase by the cup, and you can enjoy it with your pizza. Love the atmosphere, service, and great food!
