I've heard wonderful things about Pink Garlic and when my friend and I decided to come here, I was excited. This is a newer location but they have two others. I checked out their menu before hand and they have a TON of options and all are at a fabulous price. (generally $15 and under, except for one or two seafood dishes.)The place isn't big but we were able to snag a booth in the back. Two different gentleman took turns waiting on us and the service was fantastic. I went with the Chicken Tikka Biryani and my friend went with the butter chicken. We both got naan bread which was fantastic. I got the Cheesy garlic one and I think my friend got the plain?Anyway, at the end of the meal the server (owner? Manager?) packaged up both our meals and ran our cards at the table. My only complaint? beverages as usual. They don't have a fountain for refills and it's cans only. Even the water was bottled! We paid $3.50 for it. Can we invest in a machine please? Overall the food and service here was fantastic. Save your time and drive here instead of Troy for wonderful food and service.

after a movie at MJR, we decided to try this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise . We were greeted at the door and "escorted" in. Though the dining area was small, tables had cloth tablecloths and cloth napkins in an attractive napkin ring. The sole wait staff easily served all patrons. It was stressed by the owner, who took our order, that our meal would be prepared as requested. I had an appetizer while my husband had an entree. Unbelievably, my (filling) appetizer was $7, and my husband's entree was $14. His meal was placed on a warming tray, which was a pleasant surprise. Every morsel was excellent. The waiter was outstanding. We were treated like we were dining in a 5 star restaurant. Each time the waiter came to our table, he politely asked if he could remove a plate, etc. He even asked if he could take our credit card that was in the check folder. At the end of our meal we were presented with warm toilettes, which was further appreciated. After dinner we engaged in a lengthy conversation with the owner. He eagerly shared the background of his third restaurant and how his grandmother and culture influenced his entrepreneurship. We look forward to many more visits while highly recommending to others.

We visited for a late lunch this week. They are not opened traditional lunch hours, so had to take a later lunch. This was worth it 100%.The flavor was amazing, many dishes are naturally gluten free, the service was great (and very friendly), and the food was quite obviously fresh. I also liked that the meals were served at a hot tempertature (which I really liked), and they present each table with a hot plate to keep the dishes hot. Silverware was changed between courses, which I give them huge points. It's a little thing, I know, but this means a lot to us.I am celiac, so gluten free is imperative to me. The owner was present, and very knowledgeable on the menu and my available selections. I will say, the server was not as knowledgeable, but that was OK since the owner was very knowledgeable. I was also told that they are planning on getting in the bread made from gluten free grains (I can not recall the name at this time), so that will be another bonus. While we are generally not vegetarians, we ate a vegetarian meal on this visit. Honestly, you did not miss the meat. The flavours were out of this world. I mean they present a beautiful meal. Now, that being said, we are excited for our next visit to try the meat dishes which include goat and lamb (both of which we thoroughly enjoy).FInally, versus their competitors, the food quality, presentation, and taste is outstanding. And, the prices are highly competitive. SO glad we no longer need to drive out to Troy for excellent Indian dishes. As a matter of fact, I think those in Troy wil be coming out to the east side to visit Pink Garlic!

Halal Indian food. Got the recommendation from work and was not disappointed. Best Indian food I've had in Michigan. I'd highly recommend the butter chicken, barbecue tandoori, and any of their naans or kulcha. I don't personally recommend their naga chicken or biryani but that just my preference. I knocked one star off as their portion sizes are very small. I believe them to be about 1/2 the size of what you'd get at a regular restaurant with the same price tag which was a little unfair. We went with 4 people and felt as if each dish only actually served 1 person instead of being able to share with at least 2-3. Customer service was excellent and they constantly came over to check on us and make sure everything was alright. I highly recommend you check it out and would give it 5 stars if they increased portion size!

Update after my first dine in experience. It was better than my carry out earlier this week.We got samosas and momo as appetizers. Both were fantastic and the chutneys that came along with it were great. For entrees, our group got Chana masala, CTM, Pink Garlic Chicken and Chicken Chetinado. All 4 entrees were fantastic. The gravy in the curries were nice and silky, not greasy or runny. We also had peshwari and garlic cheese naan, once again the bread was fantastic. What i really appreciated from the dine in experience that I didn't get with carry out was the amazing service. When the entrees were served, they brought out a neat warming tray to the table to keep things warm. After the meal, they brought out a trolly with everything needed to wrap up left overs to go. Finally, when everything was done, we each got a warm moist towel to wipe our hands clean.I can't say enough good things about pink garlic!

WOW, I am amazed!! The number one thing that differentiates this place from anywhere in the area is the service. Never have I had such incredible service around here. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted at the door by the manager, who made it his personal mission to ensure we enjoyed every step of the meal, all the way to receiving warm towelettes at the end of the meal, and the door was held open for us as we left. The restaurant's atmosphere is casual--nothing too fancy, but perfect for a chill dinner. The food was delicious. We had mango lassis, butter chicken, saag paneer, and lamb bhuna. I've eaten at many Indian restaurants around the world, and Pink Garlic's food is up there with some of the best. Please give this place a try. My dad, who has never had Indian food, is now a convert. I promise you won't regret it!

Popped in over the weekend to explore their interpretation of Indian cuisine. I left one of the faithful! What scrumptious delights!!! The Tandoori King Prawns have forced me to reconsider what I hunger for the most when I hear the word Tandoori mentioned...I love small family run restaurants and this one is a diamond! Stop by and let your taste buds have the adventure of their lives. You too will become one of the faithful!

Oh my god. The chicken tikka. It's a revelation. Going back ASAP. They had it ready early too. It's a nice intimate space in there, funnel style feng shui. The energy in the room goes right to the food. You'll think I'm crazy until you go try.
