We pre-ordered paczki for today and MAN are they good! I had to try the strawberry jalapeno because it sounded so interesting, and I'm glad I did. Not spicy, don't worry, just nicely sweet with strawberry and pepper flavor. So good. They're everything you want in a real paczki - no jelly donuts here. I also got a couple of bags of their frozen pierogi while I was there, and they're so yummy. My favorite quick Friday Lenten dinner with a salad. Yum! I will return quickly because everything on the menu looked so good. Friendly, fun people making delicious Polish food in Eastern market. Definitely a fan.

Pierogi are my love language. If I am ever kidnapped, you'll know because I will say that I hate pierogi. If I say that I hate Pietrzyk Pierogi, call the cops, because it's an active hostage situation, and my life is in danger...because I would kick my husband in the shins if he were to keep me from these pierogi (even if I were to be NPO for a medical procedure!)I bought a mini chest freezer just to keep a few dozen of their pierogi at home because I love them so much. They are worth every penny!I can't say much about the ambiance, but they've delivered to me, and it was wonderful.I love them, clearly, and absolutely recommend them!

This review is for their food truck and not the restaurant.Went to urbanrest cause my cousin and her husband live around the corner and I love urbanrest beer. I've always enjoyed the pierogies at the Market but I have never tried the truck but imagined the experience would be just as good. Unfortunately it was not. Now typically when you order from a good truck you expect a wait, especially on a crowded night like it was this night. It took an hour to get 3 orders of pierogis. Now their pierogis are typically thicker than most, which usually isn't a problem cause one order can be very filling. But in this case it came out so doughy and chewy it left a lot to be desired. And then to top it off, they gave us the wrong pierogies. It was someone else's order. When I brought up to the man delivering the orders he said since we already cut into them he couldn't replace them. How are we supposed to know they aren't the right ones without cutting into them? So we paid $40 for terribly made pierogis that weren't even the right order. What an experience.I'm giving them 3* because the restaurant was never a bad experience so I'm averaging the 4 and 1 to give them a 3. So terribly disappointed.

The pierogi are so flavorful and a really nice size. Highly recommend. Well worth the price. Quality food. Also don't skip the polish kielbasa or ham and cheese sandwich.

I have enjoyed the Pierogi in the past and finally got to visit the storefront. Located in Gratiot Central Market Pietrzyk Pierogi has easy access and adequate parking. They had six different varieties of Pierogi and a new offering, Pickle Soup, a favorite of mine. You can watch the kitchen staff in action while you shop. The associate was friendly and helpful. Maybe someday we can attend the Pierogi making class.

These pierogies are great! The staff is super friendly and they are always at the eastern market. The flavors are so good and usually have specials. They taste super fresh and are nice and crispy. I usually get 4-5 and it's enough for a small lunch. It is reasonably pricey as well.

First of all, support women owned businesses. Second, these our fresh and different fillings you'd never think of in a pierogi. They are cooked to order and perfect! Very friendly. If you want to mix and match, order the chefs special, which is not on the menu! Also, this is across from eastern market in "Gratiot Central Market." Thirdly, get your asses down here and try them!

Wow, real good Polish good! The name is pronounced Pia-check. Just opened, August 2019, inside the Gratiot Central Market building in the Eastern Market district. Ton of different pierogi's. My favorite was The Becky (jalapeno peppers, sour cream, cheddar cheese). Also good was the Fried Bologna Slider (fried bologna, sauteed onions, American cheese, sweet & spicy mustard on a Hawaiian roll).

Awesome pierogies and cabbage rolls! Had them for Easter and already went back for more. I don't step too far from potato but did try Gouda and bacon. It was DELICIOUS!
