I have the coconut pie and the chicken pot pie that they toasted up for me. They were both so delicious. I highly recommend this place and I'll definitely be back. It was my first time there and they did not disappoint. The ladies there were nice!!!

Looking for a bakery fresh pie? Look no further than Pie Collective on John R and 14 Mile in Troy. They are an Achatz pie shop, but unlike Achatz, they are open 7 days a week, including Saturdays! All Achatz are closed on Saturdays because they are Seventh Day Adventist. This I found when googling pies in the area on a Saturday, and I needed to take a dessert to dinner that I was invited to that night.Like Achatz, they are all fresh and delicious. You can buy a whole pie or just by the slice. Free samples too! They are next to TJ Maxx. They will be opening a 2nd location on Telegraph near Long Lake, look for it.

I was never a pie person, UNTIL I TRIED THEIR PIES. My all time and forever favorite is the Michigan 4 berry crumble pie and also their Michigan 4 berry cheesecake!! Their apple pies, their lobster, and chicken pot pies are amazing too. I can't remember her name but one of the lady's that work here is soo nice to me every time! We might as well be on a first name basis because I go there too often for a slice of every pie they have. I also have bought their pies for special occasions. They are great for gifts too, who doesn't want pie??

I ordered a Michigan 4 Berry Cheesecake for my mom's birthday. Online ordering was so easy, and pick up was quick. The cheesecake was one of the best I've ever had. The cheesecake was creamy, and the berry topping was very flavorful. I'll definitely visit again!

I've only been once for a banana cream pie and found it to be pretty flavorless, especially for the price. The young man who served us seemed like he wasn't really pleased to be there and we felt like we were putting him out when we picked up the pie, which they were holding for us. I'm intrigued by the lobster pie and maybe will give them a second chance because I haven't had a lobster pie anywhere outside of Maine or Massachusetts. But I wouldn't be returning because of the service. Hopefully, it was just an off day. Everyone has one, but attitudes need to be checked at the door in any customer service business

Nothing really special about this place. I thought it was going to be more hip and cooler based upon the "Pie Collective" moniker, appeasing to the more socialist millenials and zoomers. Nope, it's basically just another Achatz in disguise. There's some local products, but not a whole lot. There's some milk from a dairy in Milo MI. I might be tempted to get it, if I were to come back, but I can only imagine the price for such a little bottle. It's easier for me to get Guernsey's or Calders from Whole Foods or another market. Anyways, the pie. I went today on 3.14, Pi day. In the past, I didn't like the taste of their 'whipped topping' (it's not real whipped cream, I can tell you that, it's some kind of ...mix or blend. Sweetex?) I got the strawberry rhubarb pie. I understand they probably made a bunch more for this day of celebration. But the pie crust was soft and soggy. And the pie crust has no flavor, and doesn't really even taste like butter. I have hands down made better pie crust that tastes worlds better using my grandmother's recipe. I probably won't be coming back, and will simply have to truck myself down to Sister Pie in Detroit.
