Phoenix Coney Island

Reuben was best ever. I eat them at a lot of good delis. We called the cook to our table to rave on it!!! Love the ambience of small lane style deli/restaurant. All pretty Xmas windows. Great service.

The red head server refused me service for paying for a homeless person she was very disrespectful I was a regular at pheniox Coney Island but somebody in customer service should not refuse somebody service that tips very well

Drove in and drove right back out. When we pulled in, the lady glared at us through the windows and shook her head like we just hit her dog. Began to point at us and growl to the cook, glared back at us and threw her hands up like we were about to ruin her life. It was 2 hours before they closed so I wasn't sure what her attitude was about but definitely turned us off. Would maybe try to come back if the blonde isn't there.

Everything is visibly dirty. I couldn't even eat the hash browns because they were so oily, it was like eating a bite full of oil with some hash browns added in. The eggs almost looked transparent. I don't know what their cooking policy is, but clearly it's to use as much oil as possible. I wouldn't recommend eating here. Ever. The geno special is disgusting, it's a pita filled with Mayo lettuce and a few pieces of chicken. Only thing that isn't awful here is the chili cheese fries

My favorite Coney Island. The food is always delicious and the workers are great. Even the cooks ask if you need anything else. The hani (they call it Geno's Special) is the best that I've had. Their chili cheese fries are perfect. And their Greek salad is good too, but I prefer the pink dressing. The only reason for a missing star is because the bathroom is dirty/gross and smelly.

Food is fast and friendly service best diner around good prices and great hours soon they will be open 24 hours every day stop in and you won't be dissatisfied

It stinks in here like dirty mop water every time I sit near the kitchen entrance. The employees either don't notice or don't care but it stinks like musty mop water, disgusting. Also their prices have skyrocketed. They don't know how to cook their eggs. Their sunny side up eggs are spread so thin they taste like rubber

They have the best chili cheese fries. Such a great little Coney Island. Nice staff too.

Your food is awesome- your customer service is absolutely deplorable. I call to place an order for carry out and ask for a minute to reach for my pad of paper with my familys orders. And she said if you need a minute you can call back later and hung up. Thats disgusting service, shame on you. Ive been in the industry for years, you don't treat people like that especially when we are sitting right in front of the store placing our order!! We can see right to you not doing anything but gossiping lol!! I will always remember you. You will never again get a tip from me- live off your 2 dollars an hour, you deserve it.

Extreme racism like I've e ever experienced before. I want to preface by saying I'm in my mid 40's. I came here to eat with some friends. Some other friends we know happen to come there too and sat at the booth next to us. We were not together nor did we drive together. The waitress, Ann, began to take our order and we immediately noticed she had a short fuse. After she finishes taking our order she began to take the order of our friends at the other table. I guess one of them asked for a hot dog cut in half and she refused to do it & told them she will not take their order. Then she looked over at us and said I know you guys are together I'm not serving you guys either. We were all confused.,all of our mouths dropped. Like what?? We had nothing to do with the table next to us. Ya, we knew them but that's it. We don't have control over what they ordered. She literally refused to help us & made us leave the facility. I've never in my life had someone so anti Semitic that they wouldn't serve us. I'm in shock at this experience I had in my 40's. I will never go to this racism Coney Island again. J
