Great Reuben's , love the fried mushrooms.... Great customer service, even received the extra ranch and Reuben sauce as ordered. Ordered previously always consistent. Take out order !!!

Pete's is hands down the best place to come for great food at a reasonable price, great beer and drink selection and very attentive service! The corned beef sandwich is by far best in Macomb county! Wednesday $1 draft beer too!

Very fair corned beef- not great though. Fun place - filled with regulars mid afternoon. Pool players, friends hugging, kind of like watching a rerun of old tv show cheers. Service was really good.onion rings good and cold draft beer .

Went to Pete's one other time it was a football Sunday tried their wings they were very good watched a football game we had a pretty enjoyable experience. So decided to try them on a Friday night what a mistake first of all I would like to get the attention of all restaurant owners and let them know service is number one. Please read this review if you are a restaurant owner or considering going into the restaurant business. There was literally two people working the entire restaurant one bartender and one person cooking the bartender was waiting tables serving taking care of the bar and providing service to any carryout patrons the cook was hiding in the kitchen. Upon being seated the bartender eventually came running over to the table and said is there anything I can get for you and then ran off came back with our initial order about five minutes later so we knew we better order something quick so we ordered some wings and a fish dinner and off she ran I could go on but I don't want to ramble but this was just a terrible experience let me put it to you this way the food was totally awesome when it finally arrived and anything I asked for other than what was on the plate for instance tartar sauce for the fish it only came after multiple requests by then the fish was cold and unedible the VIP sandwich took 45 minutes to arrive when asked what's going on the bartender simply said oh we have a GrubHub order going out .........really? Being a qualified judge of restaurants I should have known when I saw the Help Wanted sign in the window never go to a restaurant with Help Wanted signs posted this is a dead giveaway you will probably get terrible service. I may come back for the food but probably not. Because the sandwich, fish, and Wings are very very good when warm or hot I don't think you'll get it that way. Again terrible service terrible service terrible service. If you're planning on giving this place a try I recommend GrubHub because they obviously put GrubHub orders first before their patrons.

We were disappointed. Seems like a real local hotspot as many of the patrons knew each other. Great waitstaff. The 3 of us ordered the Lamplighter Corned beef Sandwiches with Tater Tots. The 1/4 lb sandwiches were just OK as the bread seemed overtoasted. Each sandwich came with a ton of Tater Tots that were just good. The meal seemed overpriced as the sandwiches were nothing special. One of the ladies with us used the restroom which she said was "disgusting". Be careful when driving into the parking lot as there are several large potholes that needs repair.

Today was me & my daughters first time eating at "Pete's Cutting board tavern " on Gratiot Ave in Chesterfield Mi. We purchased 2 pops, mini tacos, fried mushrooms, tater tots, & the 1/2 Lb corned beef sandwich. Everything tasted fine; except for the corned beef sandwich. When it came to the table it smelled wrong. It had brown meet, not pink. It looked like roast beef. I took one bite. It didn't taste like corned beef. I told the waitress all this. She went to check in the back. She came back and said that it was corned beef. I told her it didn't taste right. I only ate the one bite. I couldn't eat the sandwich. It did not taste good. When she came with the check, I told her that I felt she should not have even charged me for the sandwich since it was obvious something was wrong with it. But she had the full $16.00 for the sandwich on the bill. I told her I ordered the sandwich so I'll pay for it. Since she felt it appropriate to still charge me for it. I did tell her that was my first time visiting there restaurant, & it would be the last. I advised her I would not come back based on how I was treated. Considering all of that; she still never once offered to credit me for the sandwich. When I got home approximately 3 hours later, I had some of the worst diahreia I have ever had. I believe some or all of the food i had ate was bad. Poor sandwiches, poor customer service.

Decided to stop there and get some food to go. My wife got the Reuben and I got the Club. Definitely not disappointed as the food from here was delicious. I would highly recommend this place if you want great food for your money.

We stumbled upon this place and couldn't be happier we did! You won't go home hungry as the portions are plentiful! Great food, prices, and service.
