I haven't been here in a while and stopped in after work. I tried the Spicy Kung Pao Chicken with medium heat/ spice and it was so delicious! The sauce was nice and peppery giving a nice zing and complementing the flavors of the diced celery, water chestnuts and zucchini perfectly! I love celery and water chestnuts in my chop suey type dishes, the crunch and texture are so satisfying. There were also peanuts in the dish for more crunchy goodness. I had white rice and a spring roll which comes with dinner. The service is always welcoming and attentive at the right times. Isabella was my server tonight and was very gracious as always. I wanted to try their cucumber salad but unfortunately they were out of it. Next time for sure ! The restaurant is spacious and very clean, staff are never idle and clearing tables, wiping down surfaces. They have a sushi bar/ chef as you enter but no chairs to sit there, otherwise you'd be in the way of traffic, drivers picking up orders and right next to the door. Another thing I love is their Jasmine/ green tea, it's comforting and tasty straight up. It was served in a beautiful ceramic cup, no handle, which was easy to hold and warm my hands as well! I highly recommend this restaurant for different cuisine: sushi, hibachi, Asian, Teriyaki, Thai dishes that are very flavorful and satisfying! 6 years I have been coming here. This place is right around the corner perfect for me when I get that sushi vibe. I love the Las Vegas roll it's great. Covid really suck because this place had to shut down that was a major blow to my cravings. Family own never a dull moment here they are very attentive to you. Do not frail if your order is wrong they will correct it. It's worth to be patience here that is one of the reason they have a high clientele here. Come down here are try the sushi you won't be disappointed, That is all. The ChiefYes patience is a virtue so is being divorced 3 times. It wasn't my fault .

Used to come here for lunches when I worked nearby pre covid. My commute home brings me past them every day and I figured I would stop by to show some support and feed my belly.Color me impressed and I give them a million stars for their innovative covid safe pick up window. Call in your order, wait, don your mask and walk into the heated area when they said it'll be ready. Give your details via the touchless wireless baby monitor(?) radio system, and pick up utensils/seasoning packets/menus if you need them. Don't forget a squirt of hand sanitizer on your way out! Bonus- sometimes their food comes in reusable plastic containers.

My local spot for good bento boxes, hibachi grilled specials. Sushi, tea and more. Every community needs a local family owned spot. This feels like community. The family owns this restaurant, you home in and they take care of you. The sushi is good and reasonably priced. They have lunch specials and the Bento Box where you pick an entree and 4 other category options are a steal. We are lucky to have them.,

This has a mix of Chinese, Japanese, Thai and a Korea bulgogi chicken or beef. The bulgogi chicken sounds good but so does the hibachi meats too. They have been here for 5 years. Went for a late lunch today. Ordered the Thai basil chicken, lobster miso, ginger salad and chicken bulgogi. Starving and hoping this place is good. The chicken bulgogi is made with chicken breast meat. Decent sauce for the bulgogi sauce, slightly sweet but not too sweet. The basil chicken was also good, fresh basil and dried basil in it with a side of white rice. The lobster miso was different, one chunk of lobster meat in it, hint of the lobster meat in the miso broth. It's a big bowl of lobster miso. The fried rice was okay, didn't have much soy flavor to it, oddly a yellow/orange color, could use more soy sauce to give it less of a yellow coloring and more depth of flavor too. The ginger salad was so-so, dressing was too creamy and had little to hint of ginger from what I could tell. They gave us a complimentary veggie spring roll with our lunch meal. Food and service were all decent here, food wasn't really good but wasn't bad either, average. They don't accept Amex here.

What happened inside dining room CLOSED 26 months now. A throw together with Duct Tape and various wood panel. A fortress with sliding doors and baby monitor to order from. A disgrace to all Downriver Restaurant just close the door. 15 bucks 3 Sushi Rolls terrible mushy old rice, Wasabi old and Crumbled. Not making this up, use to love this place always had great Sushi. No more I assure you. The staff was nice. I came in at 9:05 PM & they said they closed at 9:30 so I could only do take out, and I said that was fine & placed my order. Anyways, even if I had NOT found a bug in my salad, I wouldn't order from here again simply because the food wasn't good. Wonton soup tasted old, Crunchy Crab roll was not crunchy at all, I received very little ginger & wasabi which looked like it had been sitting out, the saving grace was going to be the salad but then I found the bug. Picture attached. Anyways, do better.

The food was absolutely delicious, going into the restaurant was our second time eating there, the first was a to go order, amazing that's why we went back.Everything fresh and delicious nothing reheated and the egg rolls were full.The only reason I gave it four star was because of one of our waitresses, as they walk by they will both help you. The younger girl on that Friday seemed a little new ... she didn't seem as seasoned as the slightly older waitress, Any way I ordered the szechuan chicken and I ordered it medium hot- I don't believe she relayed the message to the cook b/c when I received it was definitely SUPER HOT! My mouth, lips, throat and stomach were in fire but it was the kinda of heat/flavor that made you want to keep eating however I drank a pitcher of ice water trying to eat the 1/4 of it that I did.My husband order another delicious meal with beef chicken and shrimp w/different veggies not sure of the name of it.Other than that the food was 5 stars and it still remained a good date night! Will definitely be back, just not ordering anything spicy on the menu.
