Pegasus Taverna - St Clair Shores

Always a pleasure with excellent service and delicious food. We always look forward to eating there and always are glad we did.

We got there at 5:30 & took us 3 times to be seated comfortably. The service was severely lacking! We had to ask for more water & beverages. They appeared to be understaffed. Food was "fine". For 4 people, no alcohol it took 2+ hrs to get through meal & leave. I will say that the Greek salad was best I've had. Also meals were cold when we got them.

I moved to Saint Clair Shores last year and I always pass by that restaurant until my boyfriend and I decided to try it out there. The food were pretty delicious, I ordered hot stuffed grape leaves and yuvetssake dishes. My boyfriend ordered gyro but he wished he could get two gyro. If you plan to order gyro dish, it'll be one gyro that's all. Their foods are fantastic but there is one negative about this restaurant. There was two waitresses that smelled like full of cigarettes that brought inside of the restaurant where we didn't like to smell cigarettes since my boyfriend have allergic of cigarettes.

Absolutely LOVED my experience at Pegasus Taverna. In all honesty I haven't had much exposure to Greek food so I wasn't sure what to expect prior to dining here. But let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised by everything from the service to the food. MMy party was a decent size since my sister, her husband and my husband were in town visiting my brother in laws family. They've gone to this place for some time so it came with high expectations. We were all seated right away and opted for the outdoor patio since that's what was recommended. I'm sure it's quite nice when the weather is decent outside but on the night we visited it was pretty warm outside. But that didn't stop the great experience.Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. He answered any questions we had on the menu since we were unfamiliar. Honestly it felt like he knew us even though he didn't. I love that their customer service vibe is so relaxed.My brother in law ordered the Appetizer combo for the table to have. Honestly I'm sure exactly what it included but the spread they had in it was absolutely delicious! Did I mention they bring fresh bread for the table too? The spread worked perfectly on the soft bread.For my main meal I went with the chicken gyro. It was amazing! Everything was so fresh and I added a bit of the spread from our appetizer dish to the pita. Perfect pairing!This place deserves more than 5 stars in my opinion. They have great customer service and their food is delicious! I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again. I wish they had multiple locations so I could it more often. Highly recommend!

Pegasus is the closest and most authentic Greek cuisine in SCS. Whether dining in or carrying out, I have never had a bad meal at Pegasus. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, the food is hot, and the portions are plentiful. If dining in, Pegasus has a lot of seating, usually not too busy, and has a quaint ambiance to the inside.

been there twice now in the last couple months, I can vouch for the stuffed grape leaves, and the Greek salad service was good and they didn't mind us hanging out. Definitely go again.

Me and my family love this restaurant, most of the time we get a carryout, but me and my son decided to dine in today. We sat outside, but it was kind of busy so we went inside after few moments and the owner gave us a free Saga Naki for waiting!! I've been coming to this location since they opened up years ago and what a first class place. The kind of place where you would want to impress a first date or take your family to. Definitely our favorite restaurant in the area.

Disgusted !!! Made several attempts w/negative results from this establishment. I left 3 DETAILED MESSAGES for when dialing direct, there's a phone tree menu which was beneficial for I was made aware of the operating business hours. All I wanted was a call back to discuss with whomever cares over there to address an issue., apparently I was wrong. GROSS this place, being an east sider by nature such a DISAPPOINTMENT, more so indicative of how the South end of SCS's businesses have lacked in customer care and service - after spending $121 plus, CASH tip ; The issue ; a simple call back would've prevented this review but since I know of several people who visit this place well here's my review -1When the gentleman who is reaching in to remove a plate or refill water, while appreciated & a standard service what isn't is the stench of cigarette smoke left behind, for said subject clearly had a smoke break, impolite is being nice. Then when leaving what is said to be a "go to" establishment, how disgusted I was after spending $$ to see the restroom so unkempt. Arrival on a Friday shortly after 3, not sure who is required to clean up the restroom(s) but absolutely disgusting to walk into one with CHUNKS of bio hazard no doubt, the underbelly of the toilet bowl was splotched with remnants of vomit and/or blood ; I'll spare everyone the photo Bottom line; what was a nice quick go to expensive lunch/early dinner turned into no thanks, once again another establishment south end of SCS gone downward., so sad especially when I would've like to have kept this private, this is what happens when no one returns a call - does customer service exist? I'm curious to see if this post stays aboard, I did screenshot it all the same. What I would have given a 4 o/o 5 initially I just can't give any rave review for it sadly proved the South end of SCS has no pun intended gone ; South, thumbs dumbs, I will never return, and I will be sure to let those that I know do go to reroute themselves, which most likely they will Have a great summer season !!

What a wonderful meal! We want to celebrate my husband's birthday. Since it was a Wednesday night, business was slow. We were seated immediately and within a minute received water, our beverages and a nice basket of bread. My husband got his favorite, flaming cheese and then lemon rice soup. His entree was off menu which is meatballs on rice with red sauce. I got a beautiful dinner sized Caesar salad and the appetizer calamari. It was probably the best salad I've ever eaten, so fresh and not soaking in salad dressing. As a treat, the Pegasus is a little higher end but that's what makes it so much more enjoyable. My only regret is I didn't catch the waiter's name because of his service, the evening was a joy.

Excellent service Yuvetsake with lamb or beef is excellent.We came here not know it Greek all I can say is WOW... Oddly enough the salad was excellent and it's only a freaking salad.
