Parthenon Coney Island

Have always enjoyed the food and people, but choosing to host a political ralley does draw lines for some folks. We will dine elsewhere after the fete offered up to Rick Snyder and Rylee Linting.

Horrible and just keeps getting worst. Been to the disgrace of an establishment a handful of times each time saying I would never return but have decided to give it one more chance for the last time after a waiter threw ice tea at me. I've gone this place a number of times by I'm just going to sum up 3 events which led me to believe this is the worst Coney Island in wyan county EVENT.1.) Battle of the Broth: The Stupid Soup War! This was far from a battle more like a war just to get my soup. To sum it up I order soup as one does, after I got my drinks, 30 minutes after I place my order and the waiter finally comes back to the table empty hand. I thought soup came before your meal but maybe not idk. But the real spiny is that she asked what soup I order after 30 minutes of me airing there by the way it wasn't event busy, I though after she asked bout my soup I would get it but no. My food came still no soup. Find I didn't need soup no big deal I guess she forgot or something but than she had the nerve to put it on my bill. EVENT.2.) Splash zone: this was a diffent day btw and I was just siting eating my food. 1 hour mind you before they closed and I got splashed with dirty mop water and not just like alittle my shoes and pants were soacked.Event.3.) It's not a club: this was my last and finally time going here, I was siting and eating, and I ran out of ice tea so I asked for another one, and the waiter holding only an ice tea, and she dropped it on me and all over the food. Yes I understand people make mistakes but we got no new food and the food was soaked and ice tea was all over me btw.

So much more than a Coney Island, Eddie and crew over a decade has the very best Thick Cut off the Spit Gyro Meat Downriver. We got the Gyro Platter with double meat to share . With Rice n Greek Red Sauce n Hot Bread, made me a big Gyro Sandwich . Got a Bowl each of Soup, Broccoli Cheddar Cheese Wowed and Goulash Yummy delicious. A special super treat for Dessert Baklava Cheesecake so marvelous rich and outrageous Wonderful a must try. Fast friendly service, great food and reasonable prices keep the place packed daily. Had a taste for a coney dog and a loose burger. A little disappointed that they did not have a loose burger on the menu. The coney was okay as were the fries. It satisfied my craving for the fact that it was what was near. The server was good, and very helpful to my dinner partner in trying to figure out the best route for his order. Its not at the top of my list for a coney, but neither is it completely off the list. Its okay

The food was decent.The service? No.I visited here with my partner and kids on 6/7/23 at 1pm-1:55pm. Our server was Andrea. Right from the beginning, it seemed she had a poor attitude. She would toss the straws on the table, was very short, didn't provide a welcoming greeting.She did not check on us. She only took our order, brought us food and brought the bill.She did not ask if we needed refills, she did not ask if we needed boxes. I went and got more coffee from someone else and boxes. My partner wanted to order a coke after the bill was brought without us being asked if we wanted anything else or if we wanted the bill. She took the receipt out of my hands and stated "Okay" very rudely. Very poor service and I am not happy with the way she interacted with my family.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner... this place is a winner. I enjoyed a great BIG breakfast special for under ten bucks this morning and it filled me up. Great service, tasty food, big portions and great value. It was so good I came back for dinner. Same friendly service, a delicious gyros sandwich with onion rings and topped off with lemon meringue pie. Winner, winner a delicious dinner.Kudos to the super friendly and helpful waitress. Give her a raise, she's a keeper.

this is the worst biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The gravy is white gravy out of a packet with no seasoning added and up sausage link inside it. It doesn't look good and it taste terrible. The bacon wasn't very good either, but it was cooked the way I asked for. They just obviously don't buy very good ingredients.

I come here 4 times a week for carry out or bringing my family and friends up here. We spend a minimum of a few hundred dollars a week. Today 1/7 I came in alone and got a big breakfast and wanted an additional 2 eggs no scrambled but sunny side up because that's how eat my toast as well with scrambled. My server with black hair who was an elder told me the cooks won't do it. I said I'll add eggs on how can they refuse a simple order. She then had someone else bring me my food not the way I wanted it because she knew I wasn't going to send it back. And then switched myself server because she knows how ridiculous that was. I'm not picky and the new server told me no as well.??? I am so confused and baffled and frustrated. I'm not a prick so i don't know why I got refused by the chef to make a simple order. Just lost a loyal customers because of the chef and servers attitude. I FaceTimed my family and there actually jaw dropped too. This was so stupid and rude. I'm so embarrassed they made me feel so incompetent for asking for 2 scrambled amd 2 sunny side up then refused and trading off servers and still getting wrong food. Nobody had appreciation for customers excpeciallt loyal ones. Will be taking our service somewhere else.

Our Lincoln Park High School Class of June 1967 gathered once again to hold an alumni breakfast this past Thursday morning (11/09/23) at the Parthenenon. The 28 of us got outstanding service from our waitress, owner Eddie and the entire staff !

Have been to this coney many times over the years.. What a major disappointment with the decline! Had a breakfast special served with a lovely amount of black hair in my scrambled eggs! I of course told my waitress ( nicely, because it certainly wasn't her fault ) that there was hair in my eggs.. she apologized and asked if I wanted it remade.. I decline. I left my eggs and meat on the plate.. there was no way I was going to eat anything off that plate. So, now we get to the good part! They didnt refund my meal.. that I could eat.. she said we deducted the egg and meat only! lol They actually had the nerve to not refund a 6.00 and some change breakfast! Are you kidding me!
