This liquor shop used to be our corner store for getting cheap candy when I was in elementary and middle school. It's grown up into a full fledged liquor store or was it always like that and I was just so focused on the candy. I have many fond memories of the corner store as it was, the name and management has changed but it is still the local store for the GPP, especially since Mulier's been gone for ages now.I only come by for adult beverages whenever I come to a party on the east side now.

Fantastic options of just about every liquor or beer! Very clean, lots of fresh deli options (I recommend the fresh tostada chips). I have been very happy coming here (just on occassion b/c my true favorite is Village Wine shop)... however, PPL has lots of extra goodies to choose from. Great addition to the Charlevoix area.

Nice neighborhood party store with a craft beer room. The guys that manage it are friendly and always helpful if you're looking for a recommendation for a beer or wine. They also have a huge liquor selection and even a great selection of mini bottles of liquor. As dumb as that sounds, I like that because sometimes I want to try something different without buying a full size bottle. A modest selection of snacks, don't go there thinking you're going to put together a meal or even an hor dourve, but chips, crackers, etc., they have it. They are a bit pricier, but you're paying for the convenience of a neighborhood store and the owner operators do need to make a living. I'm happy they're in the neighborhood.

So, there I am, driving home, rocking out to some tunes, windows down, when all of a sudden I realize I've forgotten the wine. So, I find a quaint little store on Charlevoix and hop on in. Suddenly, I'm wondering how this gem of a party store alluded me?Located in Grosse Pointe on Charlevoix and Warren Avenue Park Liquor is the place to go if you're looking to pick up a bottle of wine or some brews that will delight your guests(or put a smile on your face).Selling domestic beers, snacks, cigarettes and all that jazz, Park Liquor quickly made a warm spot in my heart when I stepped into eh back room of their joint. A little hesitant at first, I was pleased to find that this store stocks an interesting variety of imported and microbrewed beers. I wouldn't dub myself a beer aficionado, but I'm pretty knowledgeable. Park Liquor and the staff managed to introduce me to some new and tasty brews all for a great price. If your looking to grab some chips or expand your horizons beer wise check out Park Liquor, the unassuming party store resting on Charlevoix.

Love this place super helpful staff, they've ordered beer other local stores don't carry often and they have a quick turn around time. Only thing that sucks is how much more expensive stuff is here compared to other places. Example - today I spent $19.99 on a 12 pack of Oberon plus deposit. What? Kroger, Village Wine, and others sell for way less.

I enjoy having this in my neighborhood to go over and window shop the wide selection and often make a purchase. However, I have noticed that there is often a markup, so I don't come here quite as often as I did when initially new to the neighborhood. But, nonetheless, it is a good resource to have.

These guys are the greatest! Wide range of items, from alcoholic beverages, to fresh produce, and pantry goods. Their homemade soups, sandwiches, & pizzas are fantastic. What makes this the BEST, are the staff! Friendly doesn't adequately describe it, more like family. If they don't have what you want, ask, they will order it for you. - Saja Barnes
