My new go to liquor store has a HUGE selection of beer, wine and spirits. Searching for a particular tequila the owner had the brand I was looking for and he was able to order another type of tequila I had in mind.Unlike some liquor stores Paradise is clean and neatly stocked to help you quickly find what you are looking for. The owner is knowledgeable about the products and helpful with making a recommendation. The spirits are competitively priced maybe slightly more than other stores but worth it for the convenience. There is free parking on both sides of the building or you can park on the street.

So I don't know if Yelp is really meant to be used for reviewing liquor stores- but we have enough of them around, so I think it is a super idea.Paradise Liquor is my favorite party store to frequent in the area near my house- It also happens to be one of the closest. So- the things I like about Paradise are actually numerous. I'll start with the guys who run the place, they are super friendly. For a while I was kind of a regular, and they made me feel that way. They have helped me carry purchases to my car, and that is important when you buy a lot of beer... it can be hard to carry. An older guy working there one day (maybe the younger guys' dad?, not sure) - did not want us to leave until he found some random free stuff to get us. (We walked away with Red Wings glasses, a t-shirt and a poster- pretty funny and awesome at the same time.) There was an occasion where my husband and I sampled a new liquor at a bar locally, and inquired about it at Paradise. They didn't have it, but said they would order it- and actually did... It was there the next time we stopped in. I appreciate that sort of service.They have a really good liquor selection here as far as I am concerned. They also carry a fair amount of wine and beer... though they definitely do not have the most exhaustive beer selection in the area... It definitely is )more than adequate on most occasions though. (Even for when I am shopping for a nice variety for 40-grab-bag). They are really helpful whenever I would like to order a keg, and can get just about anything that I want- I do not think they have any kegs in stock (like they used to up at State) - but with a little planning, they will take care of you and at a reasonable price. I've also ordered party subs from there and found them to be tasty, large and consumed rapidly by my guests. They also sell pizza and some other food items.In summary, when I am having a party at my house- this is my go-to place to make it happen. :)

amazing beer selection with 90% of it already chilled. the guy lists 381 different beers on beermenus.com and updates them all the time. last time i went there was at least 10 different odd side ales and even more founders and bells. not just the ones you find at every store. he also is really cool with ordering anything you would like. seasonal brews are no problem. possibly the best beer selection in ferndale. i perused the liquor last time and they definitely have plenty. the bourbon selection was impressive. i have been going here as often as possible to try out new beers and just be in awe of the wonder. love, juston

This is my go to liquor store. They guys who work there are really friendly and helpful when you don't know exactly what you want. They will order things for you if they don't have it. They even throw in freebies sometimes. My husband and I bought a couple fifths and other small stuff for a party and the guy gave us some liquor samples and candy! I mean really who doesn't like free stuff. They make you feel welcome and like they really appreciate your business. Great place to shop.

so i'd like to think that i have been to a few liquor stores in my day. I remember if you wanted a 40 and were underage you would go to One Stop on Fort st in SW D and overpay to get the sweet taste of a colt 45 or Old E. Now a day I don't have to overpay or buy colt 45. in order to get my drink on. I just go to Paradise Liquor! If your lookin for some off the wall foreign brew or some random domestic fav, Paradise has it or will get it. They have an awesome liquor assortment from vodkas to rums they've got it all or will get it! They always keep you educated on new product that they think you might have an interest in. A buddy introduced me to Philips Union whiskey and when i went lookin for it I went to Paradise. They also have a humidor with some quality cigars in it, not just your gangster black and milds. I have ordered kegs for Beer Olympics that I have held at my house and have gotten them no problem! If your lookin for the good stuff go to Paradise Liquor
