Overdue shoutout to Papa's in Armada. Our kids Derek & Rachelle have been telling us about the place for months & my honey & I just made it over there last night. Bright new decor, but more importantly, great food and great service. THE SINGLE BEST chicken lemon rice soup I have ever had; my honey swore by the tortilla soup she ordered. Well worth a drive, even if you don't live nearby. We will definitely be back

Had an amazing Mediterranean platter dinner with saganaki appetizer and homemade baklava for dessert. Our server Luke was the best, the saganaki the flame almost touched the ceiling (I was late on the photo). I'm a huge fan of Papas Restaurant- the updated decor and drink menu make this place a favorite destination and we are only 2 miles from here. If any of you city folks want to make the drive North, this is definitely a great place to come.

Nicely redone, but the menu is more expensive than we initially anticipated. Lemonade was weird, but my sandwich was awesome - thick sliced turkey and delicious fresh ingredients. My husband tried a weekly special (Buffalo Mac n' Cheese) and it was awful. Seems like it is hit or miss with the menu.

My wife and I went in to Papa's at about 630Pm on Wednesday and we were seated right away, but no one offered us water. No one came by and asked about taking our orders a waitress was walking by several times and never made eye contact. They looked to be shorthanded. It would've been nice for them to address us and bring us water we were there about 20 minutes and we walked out. And no one stopped us.

The food was delicious and the service was OK. My only problem was my wife and I ordered vodka martinis up. The glasses were only half full and the martinis were warm. They were not shaken at all.
