Convenient Chinese restaurant in Southwest Detroit. The food is super cheap and you get large portions for your $. This restaurant is dine in and carry out, though I'd never dine in. The space isn't the most inviting to sit down and eat. The wait time for food is not bad at all. I usually call ahead of time. The parking situation isn't the best either. I usually park my car outside the door with my hazards on. This isn't a super safe option, as the restaurant is location on Vernor Hwy which is a SUPER busy narrow street. Also, this location is cash only

Cheap, tasty enough, really fast delivery service. Menu's in english y español.Absolutely nothing fancy about this place. Just hits all your classic delivery Chinese food staples (lo mein, chow mein, sweet and sour whatever, meat with snow peas, etc). There's almost nothing on the menu that cost more than $5 until you hit the combination plates. $4.75 lunch specials are a steal and a very filling lunch since your order comes with a free helping of chicken fried rice. They proudly boast on the menu "Delivery By Car" !!! :D it's always fast.

Second review for me and yes, it is another Chinese place -- gimme a break. I am, after all, part Chinese! lol.I first discovered this place about 8 or 9 years ago while I was still teaching at an area school close to this location. I am since back at yet another school and kind of remembered if this place is still there. Today I went back. I talk to a person there who I assumed (and I might be wrong) is one of the owners. She told me this place had been there for the past 12 years but was under new management for the last four. Like my first review, this place lacked the space for dine in but the food certainly makes up for it. I came back here today because of ONE reason only: Their dumplings! It was a favorite then, and it IS a favorite now. I love it because, to me, it is a COMPLETE meal for $4.50! Yes it is listed as an "appetizer" but man it filled me up! I am sure that the FULL selection of menu, especially at lunch is just as good (and I WILL be trying them out!) but consider this review as a BIAS FOR the DUMPLINGS!What can I say, the management may have changed but the food (read: dumplings) certainly have not! I WILL be back.

First, they deliver. Right out of the gate, I am happy. Service - delivery was prompt and painless. They called to let me know they were here (I am at a manufacturing plant today)Price - great. Cheap and a ton of food. Food - good. I didn't care for the dumplings as much as the mongolian beef, but they were both flavorful. This is what it is - and I rated it as such. This is, as others have said, the old standby Chinese joint.

The worst, most disturbing Chinese food me and my family have ever had. I have eaten Chinese in Detroit and surrounding areas countless times and I have never been unable to finish my meal. We ordered 7 entrées for my family and we all were appalled!! The sesame chicken (or whatever it was) was hard, (pink???), and some were just coagulated grease. The jumbo shrimps were all hard pieces of stiff corn meal with a small piece of shrimp inside....literally, 1/8 shrimp in a big 11/2 inch hard bread patty. The chicken in the rice tasted like canned meat. Everyone threw their food in the trash!!

Cheap and tasty food. And they deliver, right out of the gate is really good. Sweet and sour chicken/pork, egg rolls, sesame chicken, Lo mein, etc., those are my favorite food in this Chinese restaurant. Anyway, I will be back!!!

It is surprisingly hard to find good, cheap Chinese food in the city. The places are either roach traps (see Great Wall) or more formal and require you to wear pants (see Shangri-La). That's right, my friends, sometimes you just wanna stay in your PJs, pick up the phone and have a vat of lo mein delivered to your door. This, my friends, is the place.Sure, it's got a ton of MSG, but it's cheap and flavorful, and the menu is huge. It has the best egg rolls (not spring rolls, that's another classification) in town. The combos offer a lot of food for only a little coin. The delivery area is huge; Panda delivers from Southwest Detroit all the way to downtown. The office probably orders from here about once a week, and while I've never had anything mind-blowingly delicious, I've never been disappointed. Again, this place isn't the greatest, but if you're looking for cheap, decent Chinese, Panda "delivers."
