Anytime I return to Ann Arbor, Palm Palace is one of my first go to spots! There is no Middle Eastern food like Michigan's in the US-- and Palm Palace's is one of my absolute favorites. Besides the fun ambience with a palace-like exterior, when you walk in, you are immediately greeted by a camel statue! I'm always impressed with their service and affordable pricing, especially for the portions that you get. I love that they now offer robot servers, which my kids found super exciting, of course! My favorite dishes are the tabbouleh, fattoush, chicken tawook wrap, and hummus -- served with the fresh, warm pita bread. I also always order their lemonade and mint lemonade because they're freshly pressed and the iced mixture ratio is perfection! I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Michigan just so I can return to Palm Palace again!

I hope Ann Arbor appreciates this gem. Mediterranean restaurants can be hit or miss but rarely do they deliver the amazing flavor and quality Palm Palace does.I've had the fortune of traveling in the Mideast and off the beaten tourist roads so I know local cuisines can vary.So I'll point out two areas where Mediterranean restaurants of this type generally flounder but Palm Palace has perfected.First. The hummus and bread. This hummus is by itself an excellent example but the homemade bread served with it, fresh and hot just puts both in the outstanding category. The bread is addictive. You'll see what I mean.Kabobs are something that sound good but generally are served tough, chewy and burnt. Oh no, not at Palm Palace! These are superbly cooked kabobs very nicely seasoned and perfectly moist and tender. I guess there are more things on the menu than hummus, bread and kabobs but I'll never know it. When love sets in there are no substitutes! Enjoy!

We got to Ann Arbor on a cold Sunday night! The building attracted us and we soon found its atmosphere very warm and welcoming. Great food and very friendly staff!

Ordered for pickup a few days ago when I was craving Mediterranean food. I ordered on the Palm Palace website and it was a little confusing when I arrived; they had pickup spots in the parking lot and I put my name in for curbside pickup and waited 5-10 minutes but nobody came out. The curbside instructions specifically say not to call. After waiting bit I ended up going in and my order was ready. It was packaged well with the exception of the soup which spilled a bit. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter ($18.99) with rice. It was an extra $0.99 to add veggies. They misleadingly suggest that you get a second side with the platter, but outside of a cup of soup everything even the house salad has an upcharge. Even adding a small Greek salad is a $3 upcharge. A small side of toum? That's an extra $3 as well. I could look past the price but the chicken shawarma was a bit dry and unflavorful. The vegetables were good and the rice was moist but overall I was a little underwhelmed. The fattoush salad was also a little meh for $12. The size was fine but it just felt overpriced. I probably would try some other middle eastern restaurants before I'd consider ordering from Palm Palace again.

I was wondering why the parking lot of this place was always packed. There is room for more than 2-4 people per table. The service is quick and the food delivered by little robots with trays ! The food was amazing and yes there is bread and garlic sauce too.I will be back for sure !

AMAZING food. Randomly came here on a whim and have to say it beats all other Mediterranean places in the metro Detroit area, and that speaks volumes. The lamb were sooo juicy and tender. Humus was a bit sour for my taste but lentil soup was delicious. Big portions even for a fat boi like me

We had a work event so we decided to choose Palm Palace. The manager was amazing to work with especially since we needed to accommodate a guest with a severe shellfish allergy. Delivery was on time and the food was amazing. Everyone loved it. Your hummus, garlic sauce, and little pillows of goodness (the bread) are out of this world.

I had a meal with a former coworker at Palm Palace while in town. We arrived right as they opened at 10 am which is an early start to the lunch period. This restaurant has a beautiful interior decor that you notice right when you walk in with a chandelier hanging about the hostess stand. The dining room also has a similar motif which makes the area warm and comfortable for enjoying a meal. The menu was available via a QR code at a corner of our table. Because we showed up so early, the kitchen had not even finished preparing the soups yet. From the '3 Course Lunch' section for $13.99 each, I chose the Chicken Shawarma Wrap. A choice of rice (my pick) or fries was available as a carb and then I also received a side salad because of the above mentioned lack of soups. A basket of warm pita bread along with whipped butter was brought to us while we waited for our order.Slices of grilled chicken, pickles, and garlic sauce were tucked inside the wrap. The pita wrap, as well as the bread in the basket, was soft and fresh out of the oven. That was the best part of the meal. The rice and salad were ordinary with not much to mention. Our server was courteous and checked in frequently because we were her first party of the day. I rated my latest dining experience at Palm Palace between three and four stars.PS: We noticed a robot server in a corner, but it wasn't used to bring the food out. Perhaps it had not been fully charged yet?
