Palermo Pizzeria & Restaurant

Our absolute favorite place for pizza and Italian food. Family owned and operated for decades in Canton. Great service, we have had it all, dine in, carry out and catering. The last time we catered they actually came in and cooked for us when they would typically be closed. They really clue their customers and showcase it in their food. Soft breadsticks are the best.

Best pizza in Canton! I grew up eating this pizza and it has been the same all of my life. The cooks are simply the best in town, clearly they have the best owners, John & Paul!

We've had excellent experiences dining in at Palermo. The wait staff is friendly. The pizza has always been wonderful, and the antipasto salad is so generously topped that you're often left wishing there was more lettuce for the toppings. I can't say the my carryout experience was as good. We ordered a large pizza. At the price point they charge, it should be consistently wonderful. There was no sauce on any part of the pizza except right up near the outer crust. Their sauce is part of what makes their pizza so good. If this had been the first time I'd ordered their pizza, I would not be back--at least not for pizza. I also ordered a medium Greek salad. It came with one 4 oz. container of dressing ¾ full, and ¼ of that was feta cheese. There was not nearly enough dressing for the salad. The chef horizontally cut up about ¼ or more of an onion and placed the circular slices of onion on top of the lettuce and then piled everything else on top of that. When I went to get salad out with tongs, the tongs picked up some of the circular onions, causing a bunch of feta and beets to spill onto the counter. I had to dig the onions out, throw half of them away, and cut the rest up so they could be picked up with a fork as part of the salad. The bottom of the salad container had water in it, so I had to dry the lettuce on the bottom before putting the leftovers away so it wouldn't get soggy. I don't often call to complain, but since I didn't enjoy any of my dinner, I picked up the phone. The manager said he was sorry and said he'd remake it if I bring it back right then. Who has time for an extra half hour of driving and a half hour to wait for another order to be cooked? I explained this and he said he understood and said when I come back, mention this to him and he'll give me a discount. I don't know who I talked to and don't really think I should have to mention this to him. This isn't how I expected this situation to be handled, so I'm disappointed. If we go back it'll be to dine in, and fingers crossed there's sauce on all of the pizza and the salad is made correctly.

Palermo was highly recommended so I finally game it a try. The restaurant was extremely busy. 20 people waiting for tables. In spite of how crazy busy it was, the staff was super friendly and helpful. 5 stars to the staff. The food was good. The wings were a little soggy but had nice flavor. The pizza is really good but needed much more sauce. Some people prefer it that way but I like a lot more than this had. Next time I will order with extra sauce because I did taste it with the bread sticks and it's delicious. The bread sticks were also pretty good. Finally, I really enjoyed the cannoli. I saw some of the other food and it also looked good. Not the best pizza I've ever had but it was good and I'll be back.

First time here with some friends. This is a nice spot off busy Ford Road with plenty of parking.There is a main dining room and what looks to be an addition that's just as large. It'd be good for a special event up to probably 50.Service here is very cordial. This place is obviously well managed.We had the lasagna, salads, a sub and pizza. We agreed everything was great. Nice sized portions too. They don't push the alcohol sales but they have beer and wine. No liquor.We will be back.

Simply the best. True Italian ingredients (usually imported). Amazing dedication to their preparation and consistency. I moved to South Carolina and can't find anything even close to their quality. Love it, and miss it. Stick to it, guys (and gals). It's still working, after 40+ years is business.

Palermo has the best pizza, their Pizza Marinara, in Canton. Their other pizzas are very average. Their meatball subs is also the best I've found in Canton, but the visit was disappointing because the service was terrible.We went there after the lunch time rush and the place was empty except for two waitresses. We sat ourselves and ordered. The food was brought out and was good as always.However, the service today really sucked. The two gals were more interested in gabbing instead of doing their job. I get it that you can be friends at work, but you still need to do your job properly. No waitress came by to ask how things were while we were eating, and the salt was missing from our table. A waitress who took her job seriously would have noticed and corrected that.Finally, when we were done eating our waitress came by and asked how the food was. LOL, better very late than never I guess. The standard in the food industry is to check with your customers within 5 minutes after the food arrives. This gal waited 20mins. I would understand if the place was packed, but with nobody in the restaurant, I would have thought they would have done a much better job. There's a lot of other good restaurants in the area.

We had are gathering today at Palermo's pizzeria and it was wonderful. We had about 25 people and the food and the service was wonderful as well. Will definitely be going back. This is one of our favorite places for authentic Italian food. Great experience.

First off, ALL the food was great. Excellent Pizza... plus the salad, and sides of both meatballs and Italian sausage were GREATService was spectacular. Our waitress was awesome and attentive, plus super nice. The overall vibe and ambience was straight up 'hey, we're Italian...let's eat...!5 Stars.

Wow this place is AWESOME! If you want excellent customer service from everyone especially (Justin) and quality food, this is the spot. Had a huge order with 5 XL Pizza's and a catering size salad. He was super helpful guiding me through the menu and making sure we were well taken care of. This will be the companies new favorite spot! Thanks again Justin!
