GPW Kroger's service has gotten very bad with very long lines. Oxford Beverage has got everything, and offers new product to experience. Best of all, it's fast and courteous service. Confirmed closing hours, M-Th 9p, F-Sat 10p, Sun 7p.

I like this place. Great craft beer selection and for certain beers they sell single bottles/cans. Some beer is a bit pricier than major stores, like Meijer or Kroger, but that's to be expected. The staff are always friendly and helpful if I have any questions. They offer curbside pickup too.

We have frequented Oxford Beverage since we moved to Grosse Pointe in 1991. Although, convenient, I always leave wondering why I gave them my $$ to help them stay in business. They are rarely friendly and almost seem put out when asked for advice regarding a purchase. The prices are not a deal and a customer could have a better overall experience shopping elsewhere.Well, today was the last time my husband and I will walk in this establishment. We returned bottles and cans totaling $5.20 (most of them purchased at Oxford), but they only wanted to give us $3.00 because we didn't make a purchase during this visit. Really????? The employee said that it was now "store policy" but that he would let it go this time and gave us the total amount we returned. Since there will be no "next time" I could care less. Their store policy doesn't fit with the Michigan Bottle Deposit Law which allows for up to $25.00 per person per day. I don't have to buy anything when I return my bottles and cans. When I bought the returnable YOU charged me...I'm just getting my money back!!My advice? Give some other establishment your business.

I've stopped in here before to pick up an adult beverage or two but today I found this to be my new favorite place to frequent due to Jo! I called in looking for hopslam by bell's which was released January 2, 2018 and virtually impossible to find anywhere. Jo was very pleasant on the phone and looked to see if they had any in stock. She informed me they had a six pack available and agreed to hold it for me. I went in to pick it up and she must have recognized my voice from the call and said "you must be Keith" which was very impressive. She was super nice and friendly with a contagious smile. I looked around the store noticing their enormous variety of beer, liquor and wine which I didn't know they sold wine. As I looked around I overheard her with every customer and her interactions with each customer was so endearing she could teach customer service to every business in the country that lacks this skill. I'd highly recommend everyone going here to support this store.

Been going here for ten years. Excellent customer service and they always have what I want. The slurpees are delicious as well.

Havent been here since May 2012 for Cinco de Mayo and was very pleased. Owner Dave made sure I was fully accomdated due to me having a spinal cord injury. Will always be a #1 for a clutch liquor/beer run. Excellent selection!

Totally happy to support this local business! The beer options are super (especially the local stuff) and the staff make great recommendations. Excellent selection of hard ciders too, which is awesome since hubband and I can't tolerate beer. Solid wines, good to grab in a pinch (some priced better than at Kroger) but for a real selection, there are better shops nearby.The dudes behind the liquor counter are very chill but always helpful. When I asked for two vodka recommendations to make infusions and pitcher drinks for a party, they suggested Mohawk and Svedka respectively -- my guests and I were pleased on both counts. I appreciate that they aren't out to needlessly sell me the most expensive thing or look down on me for ordering in milliliter quantities because my science-trained brain fails to understand what "a fifth" is.

Love this place! The owner Jo B is the coolest ever! My husband and I went in for the first time and the staff was super helpful and very pleasant. I will always patronize this neighborhood business.
