Every so often, you need to treat yourself and not worry about the price. This was one of those times. Japanese steak houses aren't cheap, but you always figure in the entertainment factor of the presentation as part of the cost. The thing that separates Osaka from so many places is the quality of the food. Every bit of it, from the rice to the vegetables to the meats, was perfectly prepared and delicious. Make no mistake: that person you think is a performance artist is actually a very skilled chef. While he's able to twirl the spatula around and catch a shrimp in his pocket, and other fun things, he's also perfectly seasoning the grill, and perfectly charring the vegetables and the meats . There's something fresh and light tasting about it, despite the oil. And, you can see the quality of the meat in the preparation as well.We were in a group, so gratuity was included. For the emperor's feast, we got steak and chicken. We added 4 ounces of salmon for $11, and it was spectacular. An overlooked part of the meal is what comes before the hibachi. The soup was a beef broth, which had a rich flavor to it, despite just being a broth. And, the salad had a terrific sesame ginger dressing on it. Nothing special about the lettuce, but the dressing made it excellent. And, the drink service was also brisk. There was a massive amount of food here, so I have to factor that in, but it cost $151 for me and my wife, including drinks. This is absolutely something to do once in a while to celebrate, but I can't imagine doing this as a regular meal.

I've been visiting Osaka for over 20 years. It's always amazing. They're very consistent. I think they're way better than larger hibachi chains. I always get the chicken dinner and my favorite part is the garlic noodles!

Party of 6 - old friends. 2 had never been to Japanese steakhouse before. Was fun. Had a super friendly Mexican chef. Food was great- ordered 1 dinner -with a side for 2 people . Went with scallops, steak. Of course veggies, noodles & fried rice - great also . Enough for leftovers .

Best hibachi around!! I've been coming here for years, and honestly nothing beats Osaka. The atmosphere, service, entertainment of the talented hibachi chefs, and of course the food, but the HUGE portions will leave you happy that you have leftovers (pro tip- ask your chef for extra garlic butter to take home). I love that your entree comes with veggies, rice, and noodles, as well as they're delicious miso soup and ginger salad. Their scallops are big, flavorful, and the best I've had. When I have a day off, I also like to come in for their lunch special, which are generous portions for a lunch price.

A wonderful experience for my first time having Hibachi! Osaka was a really fun time with some delicious food. We were seated with two other small parties which is pretty normal for Hibachi dining. You don't necessarily need to converse with others but I was next to a talkative couple which added to the fun. We ordered the scallop/steak combo and it was delicious. It seems a bit pricey at $34, but the amount of food you get makes it really worth it - soup/salad as a starter, your choice of fried or white rice, fried noodles, and of course your choice of meat. The portions here are HEFTY and you're almost guaranteed to have enough leftovers for a second meal at home.Service was great, we had a friendly server and a wonderful cook who knew how to entertain us while also making sure we had enough food. I originally ordered white rice but really was interested in the fried rice and so he made sure I had small scoop. The vibe of the restaurant itself is really nice! We came during lunch and it already had a nice soothing vibe, but I can tell it gets pretty lively and fun here for dinner. Overall, an excellent choice for Hibachi and I couldn't recommend it more!

Wonderful hibachi restaurant. There are some great options that make me prefer Osaka over any other hibachi restaurant in the area. The number on thing is the hibachi noodles, such a wonderful garlicky, buttery treat. Everything else is good too, portion sizes are over the top, there is good variety with both hibachi proteins and sushi available. We go to Osaka every Xmas eve and love it.The grill masters always put on a good show as well.

I haven't wrote a review in a long, long time. This place warrants one. The customer experience is nonexistent.. They don't give access to Wi-Fi even though they will have you wait for an hour even WITH a reservation.. if you don't. have a reservation, 2.5 hours wait, ---no Wi-Fi. Even though they have TWO seporate networks and know their restaurant has ZERO cell servise, they won't allow guest to use their Wi-Fi (what kind of communistic crap is this) . This is a (so called) Japanese restaurant, not communist china. I asked management about the WiFi during my 2 hour wait and they said they wanted the focus on the restaurant. Don't dictate what you want me to focus on. You want me to focus on the 1 plus hour wait time, and the disgusting filth across the restaurant. Or is it you don't want your guest to access the WiFi to write reviews on what an awful restaurant you have because you know if they don't have access they will forget by the time they get home and have servise. At best this restaurant cleanliness is (-100) out of 10. The service is the worst, I've ever experienced in my entire adulthood going to restaurants. I've traveled the world and takes the place for worst. Chanel 4 news needs to do a segment. The waitress came by once after 30 minutes being sat and asked for drinks we received our drinks roughly about an hour after sitting down and then we never saw her again.. I actually had to get up and go get our own to go boxes for not only the table of 6 guest I brought , but for the other guest that joined us at the hibachi table. The reservation staff is beyond rude and non accommodating. One would receive better service in the COUNTY jail. The place is so rundown there is zero investment into refreshing the place.. the bathrooms are better in a public Porta Potty, mind you the average tab for two is over $100 here, not complaining abbot price but the experience and price should be somewhat equivalent. Not a single paper dispenser to wipe your hands in the restroom, just a McDonald's blow drier and some faucets that were installed backwards (I kid you not) . . The bar when you have to wait for two hours, it was some plywood assembly that they pieced together back in 1990, with a weaker beer selection then a dusted up RV in a tail gate. Everything about this place and I mean everything is just off, it's falling apart, it's disgusting.. What a shame as I've been coming here for over 13 years. Next time, I will bring my ice skates to be able to maneuver better across the greased floors (caution!) .. I've read comments here and there about if there was a minus one star, I now know; what that means. Lucky for Osaka, the lowest rating that is possible on yelp is a one star. You don't even deserve a one star, you have failed, but what do you care, it shows the moment a receptionist picks up the phone. I can guarantee you the county health department will be visiting the place. Take a look at the picture of the menu, I have attached here. It's so crumpled up and disgusting. I don't know how one could be expected to order off of it. It's missing a whole section that looks like a shotgun hole went through it.. this place is just absolutely disgusting. If this was the experience on the front end, where customers are, I could only imagine how the food preparation area is.. woof . On a positive note, the chef staff is awesome, I just feel terribly bad for them. They have to work under these completely disgusting communistic, lousy owners who don't give a damn about the place, its employees or its customers. It shows as they've already failed in a restaurant that they recently opened up in Detroit and had to quickly sell it because their zero ability to actually maintain a quality restaurant is prevailing. Communism is long gone in America Osaka owners, turn on your damn Wi-Fi., shame on you for such a dictatorship regime you run there. Your bathrooms are worse than a public outhouse in India. Your staff is trained to not give a F*#%k and you pay your staff to write positive reviews is the only reason you don't have a true 1 star on yelp.

I don't know what time they stop serving people but we were there at 9:20 and we're not served tonight. Maybe consider putting a sign up?

Best hibachi in town. Garlic noodles, fried rice and your choice of protein. Don't know if they use margarine or butter, but it's a favorite. If going in for dinner, put in a reservation. The entrance has a Japanese motif that's pretty relaxing.
