The vibes are cool. The music is chill. The owner and security are easy to talk to and promote a safe space for people of color and the LGTBQ community. They have weekly rotation on food trucks outside in the patio if you want some food. Been going here for years. The theme parties they throw are fun. Just be respectful to the patrons and staff, and you'll get the same respect back.

It was a tired experience. The music was wack. The people were dry and standing on the wall. The drinks were the highlight of the evening. I heard a lot about the club prior to going therefore my expectations were high... disappointed. I think it's a cool venue to have a party/celebration of some sort but a regular weekend night-- I'll pass.

Fun place, good vibes, drinks are pretty fairly priced. One of the better places to go in ferndale for a fun night out!

Spacious, fun, friendly staff, good size dance floor and stage & back patio to cool off. One of my favorite clubs!! Good music and atmosphere.

Racist, would not allow my African American friend in while he was where the same kind of attire I was in due to his outfit not meeting dress code. Avoid at all costs after I pointed this out to staff they said it's the owners policy.... Looks like we know where the problem is.

Orchid is a great spot when you have those nights where you just want to get out and dance. Some nights I'll just people watch with friends and then the other nights I'm Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing.It's usually a $5 cover to get in and coat check only costs $1( and of course they accept tips because at this point who doesn't).They have one of the best drink specials around with their $2 you call it's until 11pm, which in a nutshell means that about 85% of all their drinks and shots are only $2 until 11, and the DJ calls out drink specials after that throughout the night. The music switches back and forth from hip hop to EDM and back to hip hop all throughout the night. Now you NEVER know what you're going to see here. For example, last time there was a man dancing with a walker and you just don't see that everyday! But everyone was having a good time nonetheless. In the summer they open up the up the patio and they have a separate bar outside and every night before the close they give away free pizza! Super fun place all around.

It's a pretty busy place from what I could tell . But service was good and a nice place to meet new people for a night out.

Meh. I wish I could give this spot a better rating but I just can't. The entry price for most nights is pretty expensive, upwards of $15 per person for a regular night it seems. That's a big cover for such a small, average place. The drinks are also very watered down and are also a bit overpriced. As for being a venue for live music, it was pretty alright. I wish they didn't allow people to moshpit when average rock bands are playing. It's weird and not really the place for that. Overall, I didn't really have fun here and probably would not return unless something cool is going on. It was also dead when I went and no I was not there early either. Oh well.

Racist. they say not ripped jeans but they let two people in that had ripped jeans that were not AA. one person took a picture outside with me who just came out....sad

WE WERE THERE FOR AN HOUR! I visited based off my friends recommendation and left very dissatisfied. We got there at 10:00pm to be kicked out at 11:10, for no reason. Me and my friends were approached by security to leave, with no reason given. We sat on the barstools from the time we got there, besides drinks, and was all of the sudden kicked out. Since I'm not sure of the reason I can't say what we did to have to leave but I would caution those who visit this place that you may for no reason be asked to leave! Honestly the most upsetting part is that I spent $30 for me and friends, plus drinks, to then be summoned to leave. Safe to say I won't be returning here!
