On The Bay Boutique, Bar & Cafe

Back at my one of my favorite places for afternoon happy hour! They have rum runners for 5 bucks during happy hour and it runs from 3-5 m-f. The place has such a cool ambience to it with all the decor about the beach life. The bar area is small but very cool, they have a lot of cool tropical drinks too! Food is very good here as well. Everyone is super nice and always has good music playing as well.

Not impressed. Bad food, good drinks, all overpriced. Ate lunch, the pre-frozen chicken fingers were served cold with a side of lame potato chips. Amateur made sandwiches. Good smoothies. They push the lobster (higher profit margin?). I took the bait and ordered a lobster roll. It was underwhelming, I want my $25 back. Festive decor with pseudo-beach vibe meets boutique, gift shop and all. Cool wall mermaid. Cheaply constructed tables and chairs. The unseasoned staff were attentive and chatty. They tried. Not much value here folks. Foodwise, it's a glorified high school cafeteria. The price point demands much more effort and quality. The strong point here is the bar. Come back for a late night drink, then skedaddle elsewhere.

We stumbled upon this place on a still cold and relatively quiet Friday evening and immediately liked the covered cozy patio sitting with fire pit.The service was fast and smooth. The waitress humbly agreed that she is new and that mine was the first coffee she made and asked for feedback.( the coffee was great, btw). A little lukewarm for my taste but reheated on request. I was disappointed for a minute there seeing coffee in a to-go cup but it was just a matter of setting expectation.We ordered a Margarita flatbread and power-blend salad and both were good. All in all a nice evening spent. I would want to go back to this place to enjoy summer patio sitting.

This place is absolutely gorgeous!!! The outside enclosed igloo patios each have fireplaces, the music is fantastic, the service is amazing and they make you feel like family! I have eaten here many many times and the food is incredible every single time!!! You can't get a better vibe anywhere!!! The front boutique has such cute stuff that I go back all the time just to see what's new!

That lobster roll..... geez, so good! I kept trying to steal it.... I will be getting that next time. Tacos were okay, good spice/flavor. The spin dip was good but sized for only 2 people. Everyone is so friendly. Service is always great. Loved being out on the patio with a great drink.

We went in for cold beer, and we got one. Didn't get a chance to eat here but it seemed like everyone else was enjoying their food. The bartender was friendly and definitely it is a neighborhood kind of place, most of the staff knows most of the customers. Very casual dining they have a great patio out back. The front of the house is a little confusing whether you should sit and have a drink at the bar or if you should shop. But I think that's kind of what the owners were going for.

Came here on a whim after a doctors appointment in the area and I was not expecting to like this place as much as I did. This restaurant also has a small store that sells local michigan stuff which I thought was pretty cool. My favorite part was the smoothie (I forgot which kind I got but it was really good) and my lobster mac and cheese. I hate when restaurants are skimpy on the lobster because it's so expensive but this place had my food packed with lobster. I appreciated that a ton and it was so good. I hope they still have that on the menu because if you are a lobster fan, you need to try this!! If you aren't, theres still plenty of other options too.

Looking for a date spot? You've found it! Super wonderful staff and everyone seems like they enjoy working here. So many delicious options to choose from and an easy place to stop on your way to adventuring the city! Thank you for such a great time!

I was pleasantly surprised that the bartender made one of the best Spanish coffees in the area. The food was outstanding. The lobster bisque was amazing
