Oaxaca Mexican Food

This place had high reviews so wanted to try. Mostly it did not disappoint for authentic Mexican street food local to Troy. We got 4 tacos, 2 pork and 2 steak. We also got the breakfast burrito. Tacos were definitely bigger than what most places. Breakfast burrito was big as well.Only issue was the chorizo was a tad too salty in the burrito.Tasty. Authentic. Street food. Would return.

Got carryout for lunch here around 3, everything was ready on time and nice and hot. Steak tacos were $5.20 a piece and I feel like you got a good amount of meat for the price. The guacamole was small though for $5 didn't come with chips and was kinda bland. All and all good quick takeout spot close to work. Prolly pass on the Guac next time tho.

Very high expectations based on all the reviews but my order was very mehShrimp tacos were ok but lacked flavor, steak tacos were dry and also lacked any flavor. Chips were stale. Chicken burrito was filled with rice and beans, just an big soggy mess with absolutely no flavor.Not sure what happened, Taco Bell would have been much better!

Tacos are amazing and authentic! The service is outstanding. The only thing I regret is waiting so long to try!

Our go to for Mexican. Great food, great prices, great people. What's not to love about Oaxaca!

Having lived in Southern California I wasn't expecting Mexican food that could compare. Pleasantly surprised by this place. Al Pastor tacos were good and filling. Will go back again.

Had carryout from here for lunch today. The food was fresh and the portion was huge. Got a chicken burrito. The thing weighed like 3 lbs. it was hot and pretty darn good. The only negative was there was soooooo much rice in the burrito. Too much rice can be a bad thing and in this case it was. Less rice and this burrito would have been A+.

The best authentic Mexican takeout in the area. A regular on the rotation. Everything on the small menu is excellent and be sure to get the guac & house made chips. A few seats inside but mainly carry-out

Coming from someone who has been to Oaxaca, this place is as close as you're going to get. My tacos & guac were so delicious and everything was freshly made to order. 100% worth the 15 minute wait for food! I can't wait to come back & try the tlayudas & mole! Staff was very kind & have recommendations. It's a small place, with plenty of room to eat! Will definitely be back soon.
