This family owned business is a hidden(?) gem. The owners are so nice, the food made in house is fantastic. You wouldn't think it driving by, but it's a wonderful market and food

I picked up a variety of items here for the first time. It's a long and narrow yellow awning building. It's literally a mom and pop shop and the couple that owns this shop are so sweet. Inside is a shop, displays of the daily food items for sale, set up like a deli. Small half pound containers or foil containers to be filled up for carry out. There are a few tables set up to eat inside, if you so choose. I got the maghmoura (eggplant), spinach pie, veggie grape leaves, veggie stuffed cabbage, falafel, pickled turnips, tomato kibbi, veggie stuffed zucchini, foul modamas, fattoosh. The food here is delicious, it's homey and comforting, would be better warmed up, I am sure. The spinach pie has a good chunk of feta in it, but it makes it a bit dryer than I like. The veggie stuffed cabbage and the veggie stuffed zucchini were the ones I liked best from here. Everything here is pretty flavorful, savory or lemony.

Oasis is my go to place for all things Mediterranean. They have many items for sale in their store in addition to a deli case full of authentic specialties like hummus, tabouli, meat pies and shawarma. Their vegetarian grape leaves are amazing. The owners are the sweetest people and will help you select from their homemade classics.

I have been going here for 17 years. They are the best around Royal Oak.They are always super polite and the food is always fresh. Are used to live across the street from them and that was a treat now I try to get there every few months but every time I go I am not disappointed. It is really a gem that I hope will be around for many years to come.

It doesn't look like much on the outside, but it is a must experience place. My boyfriend and I walked in and started just looking around at all the various dried fruits and beans, and local varieties of honey. When we circled to the food counter, the lovely owner (the husband of a husband-wife duo) was walking out from the kitchen with freshly made hummus. We had shawarma and kefta sandwiches, made to order. While waiting for our sandwiches the wife came out with fresh orzo salad, which we also ordered. The couple is wonderfully attentive, endearing and incredible cooks!! I'm going to make this a regular spot!

We happened upon this place while we were out exploring the area. I'm so glad we stopped. When you walk in, the food smells delicious! There is a nice selection of groceries. We got some deli food to take home for dinner. The best falafel I've ever had! The owner was super nice and we will definitely be back. Also, it's worth noting that there is a nice selection of vegan or vegetarian food.

This is exactly the types of businesses we should be supporting right now! Great food, outstanding customer service and just overall friendly neighborhood owners. Stopped in here for the first time today and had a conversation with the owner while my food was being prepared. Went to the car to eat it and had to come back in to get some to go. Everything homemade with recipes from the old country. They put a lot of love into serving people and it shows. Highly recommend.

The couple that owns and operates this market are two of the most kind and genuine people. I love going in and talking to them and they treat you like family. They have been working together for over 40 years and you can taste the love in their food. They also make a lot of their foods that would normally have flour with potato flour so it's gluten free! They also grow their grape leaves on site so that's about as fresh as you could find anywhere! So yummy and you just cannot beat homemade.

Everything I've tried from Oasis has been great, but the baba ghanoush and lentil soup are stand-outs. The owners are lovely as well. Will keep coming back!
