immediately yes drinks were standard. you'll need a few to get drunk but the customer service and that Cajun chicken wrap gets the job done every time. I even came back the next day and tried their Alfredo pasta. It could definitely use some seasoning but just for a standard pasta, it's good. The customer service was great both times I went. Absolutely no complaints there. I would love to add this place to my rotation. I'm sure it's even better in the summer.

Had lunch here today and it was fantastic. Drinks were tasty and well priced. Food was delicious. Had the fried cheese curds and the patty melt. Both delicious. Easily accessible for wheelchair users. And good bathroom accessibility. The only down side was it was COLD inside.

Park in the back. Keep in mind the 248 number on Yelp isn't correct. Their website has 313-572-0820. The smell of roasted Brussel sprouts hits your nose as soon as you walk through the back door. Dark interior decor. All of the gadgets, robots and framed electronics all over are fun. Stephanie is waiting on us. Menu is online, still order with your waitstaff. Ordered Brussels sprouts, fried pickles, Cajun chicken wrap with fries (they are out of onion rings) and a kale salad with blackened salmon. $58.63. The fried pickle chips have a thicker breading, nice and crunchy. The thicker breading makes it bit denser to me. The fried pickles taste better on their own. A creamy jalapeño dip would make this app next level better and a lighter batter too. The Brussels sprouts are nicely roasted, but the soy sauce is an odd combination and doesn't do it for me, it's better by itself. A balsamic glaze would he better for sure, luckily they had a side of it for us. The owner came from behind me (totally startled me) and announced to me that I am yelping already. He said to me that he noticed I was giving him a 3 Yelp. He asked me how he could make it better. I told him it's a draft and all places start at a 3 and either move up or down based on the experience. He asked if there was anything we needed. I asked him for more dip for the fried pickles since the small dipping sauce ramekin is far too small for the amount of fried pickle chips on the order. I also asked for balsamic dressing for the Brussels sprouts. He said it comes with a soy sauce dip. I said it doesn't go well with the Brussel sprouts for me. The chicken wrap was okay, had nice big chunks of chicken in it, but it didn't have much flavor at all. The fries are crispy and slightly salty and thin, they are good. The kale Caesar with the blackened salmon was so-so. The salmon is nicely cooked. The kale is chopped decently, but there's a lot of veins that were not edible to me. I would have liked it better with less veins, which at times were as thick as twigs. Stephanie and the other staffer that seated us and brought water and more dips took good care of us.

Went during what appeared to be a business function so there were quite a few people there, making it very loud. The acoustics are not conducive to normal conversation volumes. I had the pork shank, which I didn't care for, but it was my first time having it so maybe it's just my tastebuds. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were great! Good beer selections too. My complaints are based on my preferences, hence the 4 stars. No need to penalize a place just because it's not to my taste. I took off the one star just because it was so loud.

Came for dinner the night we got into town . The parking was pretty bad , but we found a spot around back . The poutine was decent but is with shoe strong fries as advertised , so was shocked . The fish and chips were a little pricey for 3 pieces of fish . It was good, but wouldn't get it again due to price . The rest of the table really enjoyed their food . The outside seating is great , and the inside vibe is cool and almost steampunkish. Only downside is the waiter was the only person there running the bar and taking orders from tables . He did a great job . Hopefully they can get more supporting staff.

I was meeting someone in the area and decided to try something new. I normally would hang out at the breweries in the area, but decided to come here instead. I was fortunate to get the last available seat at the bar. Turned out I was sitting next to the owner. We chatted a bit. He was really nice and it was great to hear about the business's vision. The two bartenders did a fantastic job keeping up. It was quite busy for a Thursday night as there was a cycling club that comes in every Thursday. So fun! I ordered an old fashioned and then followed that up with a couple of beers. We were headed to the Haunted Tavern in Hamtramck, so I didn't want to get too boozy since there are cocktails provided there too. I killed sometime and met up with them and was off for a night of fun. I didn't eat, but the food looked and smelled delicious. Next time you're in the area, come and check it out.

Ribs: tiny slab, burnt, very little meat barely edible. Brussel sprouts: boiled cut in half and nothing like the picture - awful. French fries: little tiny bits an inch 1/2 long - bad bad bad. Wow. How does this place stay in business? What a shame. -J.J.

I decided to visit, Oak Park Social, this past Saturday,May 18th, in Oak Park, MI; on 11 Mile Road, east of Greenfield Road, to view The Preakness Stakes, have a meal and a few "High-balls" (when was the last time you heard this phrase).I had my first visit there, two weeks prior, with a partner and it was cool, so let's do it again.I was wonderfully greeted and waited on by Morgan, whom I asked, if the pony race could be placed on one of the TV's. She stated yes, give her a few minutes; she was running around with orders for tables etcetera. While she engaged with those chores, a stocky, red-bearded dude entered the bar area, who made me drinks, on my last visit. He was occupied with tasks, in the cash register/Main TV area, which are less than 3.5 feet apart, with the TV Remote, on a shelf, underneath the TV.After several minutes he moved my way and I asked him, if he could turn on The Preakness Stakes; "It's on NBC".He proceeded to state: 'I don't think we have that channel' and other useless babble, and then, in an ignorantly arrogant manner, he stated; 'Doing that is not priority'. He then foolishly asked me; "If I wanted a drink"? Which I replied; "No, I came here to watch the horse race and have a drink, not just have a drink". At that point he moved on. Something else may have been said, but he already exposed his unprofessionalism and the damage was done.Soon after Morgan returned; stated, 'Let me get the TV on"; brought the cook, Ronnie, from the back to turn on the bar TV, while eric, had re-stationed himself, back in the bar area between the register and the bar TV.As I watched the race's Horses Parade proceedings, along, now, with several others, who left tables and joined me, standing around the bar, observing the Preakness proceedings, 15 people-ish, eric turned around, looked most surprised at the gathered crowd, looked at me and asked me dumbfounded, would I like a drink, which I said again, 'no, baby girl is addressing that'.I know good help is hard to find; is eric good help?!?He lie's pretty good; 'I don't think we have that channel', that was a Bald-Face Lie , if there ever was one! They were not crowded; maybe 60% capacity, including both outdoor areas. They may have been understaffed, with only, he and Morgan; that does not excuse eric's below standard, unprofessional, sophomoric behavior.I also sent a communique to their email, "[email protected]";On Sunday, and to no avail, I have not received a return response, from our neighbors at Oak Park Social.Apparently, eric isn't the exception, but the rule!Visit Oak Park Social; at your own risk!!As there are way too many equal or better, Greasy Spoons, locally, with higher food and service standards than Oak Park Social, you may wanna try your luck, at one of them;Oak Park Social receives the Mud Michelin, for eric's quality of customer care and service!Morgan was wonderful and hardest of working; this review, is in no manner, a reflection on her or her service!!
