I ordered here via DoorDash so I can't comment on the service or the location itself, but as far as the food goes, I was very impressed! They had a huge menu, so many options available for customizations, and the sandwich was fresh and flavorful. I ended up ordering the corned beef sandwich with horseradish, and it was amazing! Even with delivery it was still nice and fresh. I'd definitely order from or visit this place again and try out more of their menu!

I recommend ordering ahead and picking up. They do have some parking in fornt which makes pick up easy. This is a take out only place. Sandwich's are pricy but large. They also have a big vegan menu.

THE best deli for delicious sandwiches. Individual subs, party subs, sides, desserts, thanksgiving dinners... you name it. For meat and plant lovers alike. Their vegan subs are the best I've had. You can build your own sandwich or choose from their delicious combinations. I love the turkey, ham, or Italian sub (all vegan). They have daily and weekly specials too. Always friendly service! So lucky to have this business in metro Detroit.

Great place for sandwiches! I was in the area and stopped by and ordered the Italian. Wait was not long and the staff was very friendly. Was clean inside too. When I opened the sandwich, it looked great, tasted great too! I def recommend this place and will for certain go back for another

I came here for a nice lunch and it did not disappoint. I rode a bike here and while there was no bike rack for me to place the bike, there was a large side walk with a bench that was very helpful for eating and parking the bike. Inside, there is no seating, it is just a deli counter but overall, very chill and clean. The food was overall delicious! The conflicted Ruben was definitely something different. I didn't love the potato salad because the potatoes could be cooked a little more so they were softer however I know many people who enjoy their potato's that are firmer. Service was very quick. Overall, would recommend for a quick lunch

Vegan Reuben, spicy avocado turkey. and carrot cake. takeout. Vegan Reuben was very delicious considering it is vegan. Was comparable to other great Reubens in Michigan such as Zingerman's. I would still get non-vegan Reuben as a personal preference but this was very close. A must get if you come here first time. Got marble bread and it was an excellent choice. Spicy Avocado Turkey was also delicious. Sandwich was full of content - they did not skimp. It was spicy and flavorful and juicy. Would order this again.Carrot cake was also good. It was a little dry but was not horrible. I was amazed by the fact that it was vegan but so good tasting. It was not worse than non-vegan carrot cakes.

Oak House Deli was okay, but expensive for what I had. Turkey and cheese with chips and a can of soda came out to 15 and change.. and it was cheap Faygo soda, I was hoping for a Coke and more meat on the sandwich for that price. Also could have used better tomatoes. Tomatoes one can actually taste which really makes the sandwich, and more lettuce. The Italian bread was good! I'm from NY and live in Philly so keep in mind, high expectations when it comes to a sandwich/hoagie :)

Great restaurant with fantastic choices of sandwiches. Hot, cold, and can even get a side of pasta salad (both vegan and normal).The service is always super helpful. They are always willing to help with any recommendations due to your uncertainty but have open ears when it comes to what you're feeling like!The feel of the facility is that of a normal deli with a wide open assembly station to view to your hearts desire. You can see how clean the facility is from the storefront and how well managed it is. I will say, every time I take a bite of a sandwich from Oak House Deli, I always enter a state of euphoria. Come by and snag a sandwich because I promise you, you won't regret it!

As you can see from my photos, the Roast Beef and Cheddar sandwich was nothing but a thin layer of meat, barely any cheddar, and some horseradish sauce. Half of my sandwich barely had enough roast beef to justify it costing $12.99. A rip-off that does not include chips or drink, just a pickle included in that price. I have gotten much better sandwiches at Jimmy John's. Even a fast food restaurant like Arby's will give more roast beef and cheddar. This is another overrated Royal Oak establishment that I will not eat at again.
