This place is amazing! Everything is HOMEMADE and you can taste the love and appreciation. The owner, Dennis O'Malley, was the most hospitable host and made my party feel at home. I highly recommend all of his soups with the cream of mushroom being my favorite. This place is a must visit!

Food was good, but I was dissatisfied with what I ordered. We got fried fish and mine was really salty and rich, it was a little too much. All the sides were good, but I was really looking for something to jump out at me. I would love to get it another try some other time.

We should have never gone in with the way the outside looks. Boy has it gone downhill. But we can hardly believe our experience. Was accosted by the owner in the parking lot because I said a one sentence complaint about the chicken noodle soup?? The guy was completely hostile and unhinged. Told us not to complain because he was going under and couldn't keep employees. Why did you ask if you don't want the truth? In reading another review here it seems you are abusive to the employees. Maybe that's the issue? Never going back and advising avoidance of this former top notch restaurant. If the soup wasn't good don't scream at the customer in the parking lot. Not helpful. If it's still open in a year I will be shocked.

Great little place. Specials always hit. My son got the kids shrimp dinner. Omg amazing. He was in love real. Large and freshly battered in house. Plus who doesn't love an old school salad and soup bar.

Great food, great selection and specials. The owner is a real hoot, he overheard me talking of another restaurant having the best coleslaw I've ever tasted so he brought some out and said "try ours", then he brought some samples of soup out as one of our members was having a hard time deciding what to get. We've been here many times and the food and service is top notch !

This is the most underrated restaurant in all of metro Detroit! Everything is homemade by Dennis and his wife from their bread to their sauces and soups. OMG, heaven.Dennis the owner is very friendly and grateful for his customers. He walks around and visits with all. Awesome atmosphere. Extremely friendly staff. Cannot wait to go back!!

We had such a great experience here! I could go on and on about the food - incredible tasting and such good quality - but what really stood out to me was the service! Went there for fish and chips today. The fish was hand battered and fresh cut. It was excellent. There hand cut French fries were hand cut and were the best I've had in a long time.
