I am a delivery driver and I picked up an order from here tonight. The woman working the front was very rude. The order wasn't ready when I got there so I read through their menu trying to figure out why they have a bunch of pizza boxes stacked, but don't actually serve pizza at least not on their menu. I also noticed that it says they accept bridge cards and sell fresh seafood among other things. The seafood is in a clear case and it is all frozen. When she started bagging up orders, I noticed one of them she bagged was mine and I told her such she told me that I had to wait until she was done bagging all of those orders before she would give it to me. When I finally got the bag, she told me I had to mark the order as picked up and I hit the button and had to take a picture of the receipt as I was taking the picture. She then got snappy with me and told me she had to see me do it I told her that I was but I had to take a picture. Then she told me that me sitting there and staring at her for 15 minutes did not help anything along. I told her that I am not getting paid by the hour. I'm getting paid by the order and I'm not getting paid to just stand there and wait. I actually have a screenshot of the conversation I was having with the customer telling them that their order was taking long that says it was only six minutes, not 15. On top of that as I was leaving, she told me to never take an order there again I would honestly never want to eat gas station fried chicken, but especially not from a place like this. It all looked dry and gross and the staff there are absolutely terrible. I still have absolutely no idea why they have pizza boxes because they do not serve pizza.

OUR TAKEOUT WAS TAKE BACK QUALITYWhat's up Nu wave?? New owners?? Hubby says he saw different line of cooks, cashier, etc. than was there before. For sure we experienced totally different quality of food. We've been coming for last several years but the food we purchased today was a COMPLETELY different quality. In the past we loved this food so much, we often took it to potlucks and family reunion. DETAILS: So we ordered & took home the "Family Pack" for $29.99 + tax: 12 pieces fish (6 pieces perch & 6 pieces of whiting), 12 pieces chicken, 12 pieces shrimp, & batch of French fries. We discovered several problems: 1)the perch was terribly undercooked; more specifically the meat of the fish was raw underneath the fried coating. My teen daughter was the unfortunate victim to take the first bite. My husband and I closely examined several more pieces and we found it all raw (underneath the coating). Moreover the perch was also bland in taste. No seasoning! 2) As well the chicken wings lacked seasoning; VERY bland. My says it's as if they simply deep fried the chicken with a battered coating but with NO SEASONING. 3) the chicken wings were SMALLER in size. In the past we saw nice adult chicken sized wings. Now what? Baby chickens? 4) the oil used to cook everything was different & lower quality. Different taste, different consistency, not as tasty. We guessed that perhaps they used Crisco in place of the healthier vegetable oil we were accustomed to. 5) the French fries, like everything else were bland & ill-tasting with the bad oil taste.As soon as we discovered the undercooked fish at home, Hubby made a phone call to let them know about the undercooked fish. (We didn't discover how bland & insufficient all the food was until later) Whomever answered the phone at Nu Wave spent several unnecessary minutes asking him for his receipt transaction #, the time he came in (literally 20 minutes - the time it took him to get home with our order & our hungry daughter to take the 1st bite), etc.. blah blah, checking to make sure we were legit? They asked that he return to the store to return the order. INCONVENIENT. Which he did. After waiting another hour or so while he travelled back, they cooked another batch (fish only), etc. the kids and I eagerly welcomed the second batch. Once again, we found several pieces to be undercooked. ON TOP OF all of the other aforementioned problems.Even our 11 year son would not eat his usual pile of fries! He said they tasted too bland.We threw our hands up and declared that we would not return. NU WAVE: THIS IS A WAKE UP CALL.

Awful place. My partner and I have ordered delivery from here 3 times. Each time the order was wrong, but we gave them further chances because it was never a big deal. Tonight, however, they gave us the wrong flavor of wings. I really wanted the ones we ordered, so I called them to see if we could come in and exchange the incorrect wings for the right wings. we did not try to keep the wrong wings, we didn't ask for money back. We were going to come in to exchange them. The owner first called us liars, then said the delivery driver must have stolen the wings. I was like we are literally offering to bring in proof that the order is wrong so what are you talking about?My partner heard how disrespectful the owner was being and took over the call. They got into an argument and the owner threatened to shoot us if we came to the restaurant. Stay FAR, FAR away!!

So good! Hot & fresh! I ordered the Chicken Liver's, Chicken Thighs & Catfish. All my craving's I've had for weeks! Nice portion sizes. The fries that came with my order's were also good. I will be ordering from them in the future.

This place is absolutely disgusting! Bugs flying every where, dirty, and I literally watched the guy cooking the food sneeze twice right on the food without covering his sneeze or washing hands. Food is over salted and over cooked.

The prices here are reasonable and the food is good. They run nice deals on bigger portions, making it great if you are sharing with a crowd carry out style. They have coupons and will often let you have food at the coupon prices even if you don't possess one before you go in, just ask because they are pretty nice. They also will generally give you some coupons to take home too.They have very nice chicken, decent catfish (I prefer the place down the street) and excellent shrimp. I have not tried the ocean perch or whiting because I am not a fan of either anywhere. I think the crispy yet juicy chicken wings are my personal faves. I would have to say as a general rule I find the chicken and shrimp here to be the superior options to any of the fish options.The typical fries, small portions of slaw and white bread are nothing to write home about. We like getting the chicken to go on its own instead, delaying the heart attacks and saving some calories by eating it with our homemade veggie or salad type sides at home.Give it a whirl if you are nearby, it makes a quick dinner at reasonable prices.
