Novella's Pizza Milford

My hubby and I ate dinner at Novella's Pizza in Milford for the first time yesterday evening and it was so delicious! We ordered the Italian Sausage dip with toasted baguette bread for our appetizer and It was absolutely outstanding! Next, we each ordered 2 different small pizzas to share and take home the leftovers.The Award Winning Fig & Pig thin crust was over the top delicious with the lean pork belly, creamy goat cheese, carmalized onions, figs, balsamic glaze and fresh arugula.The Novella's Supreme was a big hit as well with loads of meat, large chunks of roasted garlic, mozzarella and sauce with fresh basil on top.I would definitely recommend the Prickly Pear Margarita to accompany anything you order!We sat outside on the front sidewalk patio to enjoy the beautiful warm weather.Our server, Kat was amazing!! She was so very sweet and quick to bring our drinks and food. She was actually doing double duty with bartending and serving all the guests which was super impressive!! To top it all off, Kat gave us a small bag of homemade chocolate chip cookies to take home and enjoy!We highly recommended Novella's Stone Fired Pizza restaurant.

Nope! I will never visit this establishment again. OHSA would have a field day with a spot inspection on this place. I placed an on-line order to be ready at 1940. I show up at 1935 and am informed they are unanticipatedly busy and running behind. Ok no biggie yet so I wait patiently. Another gentleman is also waiting and tells me he has been waiting over an hour past his ready time. Great! So this gentleman receives his order and leaves so I try to stay out of the servers way and wait where the previous guy was. Which has a clear view of the kitchen. I notice a bin of used pizza sheets on the ground with some over-flow pans directly on the floor being stepped on by many people working the kitchen. I thought nothing of it as I'm sure they were set to be sanitized. NOPE!! It is at this point I witnessed a guy making a pizza twirling some dough walks over chooses a sheet directly from the floor finishes the pizza and places it in the oven. I reported it to the manager who was in the weeds of serving and walked out in disgust . Guy in the hat is making the 'dirty pie', and the green is the manager. FYI.

Great service, food quality and reasonable prices. Very nice Atmosphere.First time and will go back again for sure.

Amazing Brussel sprouts, courteous and friendly staff, yummy pizza! Lovely setting! I will be returning often!

Not worth the hassle. I'm new to the area. Looking for my new Go-to pizza place. Decided to try carryout pizza. 1) parking is a nightmare. 2) carryout pickup is at the bar. People were stacked up there waiting for orders. We were in the way of the hard working staff. 3) the bartender is the one who handles carryout. Felt bad for him trying to make drinks and food. 4) had to wait 30 minutes past the pickup time. 5) pizza was disappointing. The Detroit style pizza is all bread with dusting of toppings. Summary..... not going back

Great service and delicious food. We enjoyed the espresso martinis and garlic knots with the beet salad as an appetizer. For dinner we got a small pepperoni pizza. It had the cupped pepperoni. We got it well done and it was delicious. The small pizza has 6 slices (perfect for 1-2ppl) and the large has 8 slices. With the appetizers, we were full. I forgot to take a photo of the pizza! Next time!

Great Pizza - especially their thin crust. Friendly waitstaff, nice bar too. Even better in the summer where you can sit outside!

Been wanting to try this place for a while, just not in Milford very often. Glad I finally had my chance. Pizza was excellent and the garlic knots were among the best I've ever had. Staff was quick and attentive.

We got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and the Novella Supreme pizza for dinner. This was a thin crust pizza with lots of flavor! Our waitress was very attentive and took good care of us. They serve both deep dish and thin crust pizza with plenty of choices. We got a skillet cookie with ice cream and drizzle for dessert. Yum!What I thought was very cute was that the table next to us was a mom and dad with two kids. They picked their own toppings and made their own mini pizza! I've never seen that at any other pizza establishment. The dining room is spacious with two tv's and the bar has three tv's. We will be back!

Solid Good. Better than average, but not amazing. A little cramped inside at some tables, but ample room at others. Had thin crust pizza - make your own is probably best bet. Neighboring table has calzones (huge).
