This combination take-out / dine-in was doing a brisk business at a rather late dinner hour (9 pm) - maybe that's not so late in this culture. The flavors were authentic and not mellowed for Anglos. Our "Medium spice," usually no problem for us, actually was a problem that night! Taking home the leftovers in hopes that might mellow the chiles did not work; I think they actually got hotter. But the flavors we could discern around the heat were very good. The ambiance was more take-out than dine-in; and it took a while to be served once we were seated. This was because the small staff was taking care of the customers picking up their towers of styrofoam boxes. The few beverages were cans of soda or cups of premixed lassi from a mini-fridge near the cash register. It was a rather strange dining experience for us, but 80% of the tables in the place were full, all except us were Southeast Asian families and couples. Must be good!

The ambiance of Noorjahan had an air of neglect when we walked it. The fixtures (booths, etc.) could use some work. Still, my husband and I wanted to try somewhere new, so we sat down.We tried the Vegetable Samosas and we were disappointed that they didn't come with any sauce. The flavor was ok, but I wouldn't order them again.I tried the Tikka Masala, and didn't really care for the sauce. The accompanying garlic naan was good. I didn't like the cardamom pods in the basmati, which gave the rice an unpleasant flavor. I like my husband's butter chicken much better, and it was the only thing I would consider ordering again.

The past two times I've ordered dishes from Noorjahan's through DoorDash have been wonderful! I wasn't aware of the restaurant prior to this and I had a craving for some good Indian food. The first time I ordered in I got the Chicken Tikka Masala with Naan, Raita, and a Mango Lhassi. It was really good. I ordered it mild and it came with a hint of spice. I could have probably gotten medium. The naan was pillow like and easy to scoop up the sauce and raita (cooling yogurt sauce). The mango lhassi was sweet and delicious. The next time I ordered from them we ordered the butter chicken and the paneer tikka masala. The paneer cubes were big and firm. A little different than I've tried in other restaurants but still good. The butter chicken is my favorite dish from here. It was so fantastic! There was enough for three servings! We split entrees and had leftovers. I'm going to find the restaurant soon to dine in!

Butter chicken sounds good. It's in the same strip mall as Massage Envy or iSauna, Noodles & Company too. It's not too busy for a Friday night. In a booth by the window. There's a rowdy group at a table nearby. One guy keeps throwing F bombs the entire timeOrdered Chana masala, mushroom bhaje, garlic naan, chicken makhani, chicken Bhuna, bhindi masala, all medium spicy, a mango lassi too. Had to ask staff to put some TP in the woman's bathroom and after washing hands told the staff they are now out of paper towels. The chana masala was decent. The butter chicken is the better dish here, super flavorful, spicy too. The mushroom bhaje was different, nice heat and spices too. The bhindi masala is okay, not my favorite, regretting ordering it now. Sauce is good. Getting some of the hard bits of the Okra that's not so edible. So full too.

This is a great Indian curry house. Growing up in England with all that Bradford has to offer, I'm really picky when it comes to curry and I've struggled to find the same level in the US, this is the BEST Michigan has to offer in terms of food. The inside is simple and open, maybe not what you want for romantic or showy dinners, but the food quality and service is top notch.

Vegetable pakoras had no sauce, but a salty sprinkle of spices on it. Tandoori chicken was tiny pieces of dried out chicken, some yogurt or something on the side would have helped. Do not recommend. Ordered for pickup, it was ready when arrived. Restaurant is kind of a mess inside.

Food was good. I tried buffet so don't remember what all dishes are but everything I tired was good. Weekend buffet is slightly more expensive than weekday ones. My issue was cleanliness and disarray of the store. Windows were greasy to the point you can't look inside from outside. I went there Sunday afternoon. Tables and chairs were in disarray (guessing a large group in the morning?). That made me wonder how clean the tables were.... Not a place for a lunch with friends.
