This is a great place for breakfast. Clean, bright. Corn beef hash is homemade. Coffee is good. This type of restaurant, diner, Coney Island are common in Detroit area. If you're in the area this one is worth the visit.

Food quality is inconsistent. Great one time, blah the next. Edible. I think high turnover may be a cause.

I have to admit that I love love love having breakfast at a good decent diner. I've been getting lunch take out from Noni's. Well I finally decided to dine-in for breakfast with S. We both ordered omelets, the Noni's for her and Farmer for me. They were the size of newborn babies. And just as adorable. Delicious. We both had to quit mid-way and get to-go boxes for the leftovers. I will definitely have to do this again. As for the ambiance, this is a great neighborhood-y place to meet up with family or your neighbors.

When you travel out of town try something different. This is a nice small town restaurantI that has a good menu with a great staff. Our waitress checked on us often answered any questions that we had. For breakfast I ordered the Italian sausage. It came with 2 large pieces of sausage, eggs, hash browns and toast. There is no reason to leave here hungry with all the choices available for you. Restaurant has booths and table seating with a separate area for take out only. Prices are reasonable, service was great, food was delicious. It would be nice if other chain restaurants take a page from these small town establishments.

I started going to this restaurant for its convenience. My family gets together and we come here. The food is delicious, the ambiance is neighborly and the wait staff are friendly & nice. We have always enjoyed coming here. The menu has plenty of choices. I recommend Noni's for the breakfast, particularly the Grits. Go Check it out.

Service was good! Like the atmosphere....but unfortunately looked close at my plate and coffee cup where hair was in my food and on the side of my cup! So sad, I really wanted to be positive about the restaurant. Management did not come over and apologize, just sent the waitress to take off for coffee not the meal. This added to a negative ambiance.

I visited Noni's on Friday, August 2, 2024. I was hesitant to order as I entered the establishment because the foyer/entry was not very clean. As I approached the counter, I noticed there was bulletproof glass, and the person taking my order, a black woman, was simultaneously yelling at a coworker. These were warning signs for me. Nonetheless, I ordered the six-piece chicken tender meal with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and coconut cake, which cost $17 and some change. I was visiting family from out of town, who happen to live within walking distance of Noni's. Unfortunately, the chicken tenders were overcooked and hard, and it seemed like the cooking oil hadn't been changed in weeks. Additionally, the mashed potatoes were extremely salty and stiff, making them inedible. The chicken gravy was served on the side.During my first call to Noni's, the employee hung up and mentioned another name for the restaurant when I didn't respond. When I called a second time, the phone rang for 3-4 minutes and the employee made a remark about people liking to hear them breathe, then hung up again. On my third call, an employee answered and I asked to speak to a manager. They said the manager, named Candy, wasn't in but would be there tomorrow at 10:00 am. I was surprised by the lack of professionalism. When I mentioned it to Candy, she suggested that I wouldn't receive a refund unless I brought the item in. However, when I arrived, Candy was already gone for the day. I explained the situation to another employee. She took the food, checked it, and then appeared to make a call. When she came back, she informed me that the business would not refund the money and asked me to leave. I am warning everyone, whether I know them or not, to steer clear of this establishment and to actively discourage such fraudulent behavior.
