The only reason I gave them a 1star rating - is because I had too put something!! My family and I have just received our food and the shrimp was molded!!! YES!!! Molded! I will be reporting them to the health board in the morning!!!

I was wanting some Chinese food real bad, and I checked the reviews on this place beforehand. I was hopeful and my taste buds were ready to be wowed. Let me cut to the chase: It was some of the nastiest Chinese food I've ever had. No question. They should change the name to "No 1 Worst Chinese Food".The fried shrimp was bad...it was more like pieces of fried dough, with a tiny piece of shrimp inside. I understand that most Chinese fried shrimp has a lot of batter, but this was ridiculous. The "Almond Boneless Chicken" looked "old", and the batter on the outside was an unappetizing deep brown color....never seen anything like it. The chicken was tough. The gravy was the best part. The Shrimp Fried Rice was just okay. I was really looking forward to my shrimp egg roll, because they use cabbage instead of beansprouts , and I was praying for something good out of the meal - it was awful too. The cabbage inside was mushy and looked like it had been cooked some days before. It had a weird taste.I'm seriously beginning to question if there are any really good Chinese food restaurants in northwest Detroit. I will never, ever go back.

Worst food I have ever ordered and I was told not too.I ordered beef and broccoli with the house rice. The house rice I felt was old and had been frozen at some point (at least the meat was), the broccoli was nowhere near green in color, more like a split pea green which from what I know means that it was way over cooked! I had a better experience with the i china near where I lived near 7 mile and Van Dyke which is why I was willing to give them a try. My sister told me not to order from here and she was soo right. I ate 2 spoonful and trashed the rest, waste of 9 dollars!

finally found the perfect copycat of my favorite childhood chinese joint.i've been searching for so long for a place that still makes chinese food the way i'm used to having it! delicious cabbage egg rolls (not the bean sprout ones some places make, yuck!) and plenty of fresh shrimp in their fried rice. their sesame chicken is so good, the sauce isn't too thick and sticky like i've had from some places. my meal was everything i hoped it was going to be. now i am definitely making this place my go to! they now accept credit cards as well
