Nicky D's Sports Bar & Grill

Great atmosphere, great people, great food, great service, and cold beer. When you look at this place off the road it looks like a very intimidating building. But go inside and it's just a local pub. You always feel welcome and you always feel at home. The first time I went I met Meghan the bartender. What a great person and an awesome personality to be behind a bar. She was warm and inviting and very helpful in food choices. Going back the second time which was probably several weeks later, she remembered me and welcomed me just the same. It's good to see awesome help and a nice comfortable place to have a drink and something to eat. I recommend that everyone at least try this once, because I know you'll be back.

Very dated and average sports bar yet I will say it was huge inside. We ordered the Super Nacho and the Nicky D's Burger with a few drinks! Super Nacho wasn't my favorite but I'm very bias and prefer liquid cheese instead of just shredded. Then the Nicky D's Burger was HUGE and he said it was very yummy! They did have really coat effective pricing! Will probably try back for food and drinks again but try something else!

A very average, very dated bar - in need of some interior updates. Had a table with an average of 5-7 people coming and going. Server - Kayla kept up on everything. Found out it was her last day. Went with 2 coney dogs- usually can't go wrong- they were average. 3 beers, 3 coneys and a good tip - out the door for $21.

Had lunch and a beer and watched a little football this afternoon. It's a big place with a dance floor and disco ball. The interior is a little tired but the server was really nice and was on her game. I ordered the Texas pita - grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, bacon and ranch dressing. It was served quickly and was nice and hot. Unfortunately, the chicken was really dry with not much flavor. It had a tiny piece of rubbery bacon and not much tomato or lettuce. I'm sure they've got some good stuff here but this visit wasn't the best food-wise. I'll come back and try again.

Great place. excellent food and awesome service ! George is the new owner. Personal attention to customer service. The establishment also sponsors local sporting teams. Has its own parking space.

Nice little bar with karaoke and a mini stage too. They also have 2 pool tables. During warmer weather it's nice to hangout in their side patio which is facing the street, unfortunately drinks aren't allowed. The waitresses were kind. This place can get crazy packed at times. In case you guys haven't heard, they're now open on Sundays :) I do recommend this bar. It's nice and comfy inside.

I used to eat here all the time for lunch when I worked in Madison heights because the quality and pricing is just unbeatable. I would always get either a Caesar salad (always remember to order the chicken on the side otherwise your lettuce will be soggy-- lesson learned) or their wraps. The standard salad size can easily shared between two people; plus leftovers. Their wraps on the other hand are to simply die for. I've tried about 4 different kinds- I can't even remember my favorite one they're so yummy. There is one that comes with a pink sauce on the side though that is a MUST if it's you're first time.

Shitty service if you're not a regular they won't take care of you. Consistently told us kitchen was closed while they were bringing food out for other patrons. We asked to order one meal and they refused. Overall would never come back here again.

This place was a horrible experience. We came here for a birthday but sadly it was the bartenders birthday too and she chose to work and be a drunk rude person to everyone else. Everyone around us was displeased as well the blonde lady couldn't even get the drinks right and you can smell the liquor on her. I'm not judging-have a drink but, don't forget we're here to spend our hard earned money too. We left after we waited forever for the first round.

This bar is amazing. Great people, food and drinks. The owner is incredibly attentive. Try their burgers and wraps. This place does not disappoint!
