As always the staff is always friendly, place is always cleaned. We came at a perfect time everyone was clearing out so we got a seat right away. Everything we order from here is always gourmet and tastes divine. If you never been it's a must. Great diner!

So I have been to the St. Clare Shores location and saw they had one much closer to my house. Same great food, same great service (thank you Romani), same reasonable prices. Much nicer atmosphere/ambiance. They have an extensive lunch and dinner menu and a bar! I never that to go to the Shores location for anything other than breakfast but this location may turn into a lunch spot for me as my office is less than five miles from it.

This is one of my favorite breakfast places, but they also have great dinners. The service is good and there has never been a wait when I've been there. For breakfast I generally get omelettes and they are always cooked really perfectly. If you order a dinner, plan on bringing some leftovers home. You get bread, a soup , salad and dessert! And the prices are really reasonable. You definitely get your money's worth h

Mom and I were first-timer's on a Wednesday morning just before 11:00am. Since we ordered 5 minutes before 11:00am we could get the breakfast special. I had the special, for just $7.00. I had 2 eggs, bacon, hash-browns and toast. Mom ordered the more pricey vegetable omelette at $11.50. Our server, Debbie, was sweet, kind and very efficient. The coffee was served hot in a cut squared off cup. Coffee and water were replenished in a timely manner. The tables were clean without having to deal with dirty or sticky salt and pepper shakers, condiment bottles or menu's. We always like to see salt and pepper shakers as mom has arthritis in the hands making it difficult to turn the grinder on the shakers. The food was served at the right temperature, it was cooked very well and tasted delicious. There was plenty of food to take home and eat the remainder at a later time. Parking is a bit of a trick as the spaces are tight but it is manageable. There are TV's to glance at if you are bored with your phone; LOL. This morning, I did not glance at the TV's as I might have hurled...THE VIEW was on.Given what type of establishment this is - a local family dining venue, they nailed it and I'd consider it a local gem. BONUS: They added a bar where you can order beer, liquor and wine.

I've always wondered about this place and finally stopped in today for breakfast. I was hungry, it's Thanksgiving day and I figured why not.Walking in, the place was busy, but not overwhelmed. I was seated immediately and reviewed the menu. Lots of offerings here along with weekday specials. Place is cutely decorated with a classier feel to it.My server was great and got my order out in no time. I went with the gyro omelete, toast and hash browns. Hash browns looked home made and were really good. Omelete was delish, and overall a good meal. Better then coney island any day!It's not cheap here but not outrageous either.$12 to $15 a person on average, and they sell booze here! I secretly wanted a mimosa but passed since it was far to early to start day drinking. (I have to pace myself.) Will be back soon.

Very average "family style diner". We came here after church on a Sunday and it was crowded but we did get a table right away. The service was quick but the food was average. I got the veggie omelette and husband got the eggs Benedict. The eggs in the Benedict were fully cooked and the sauce was thick and starting to break. The omelette was ok, the veggies were nice and fresh but it wasn't anything to write home about. The potatoes were dry and needed seasoning and ketchup.

I hate to leave a bad review because the food is actually really good here, but the service is trash. Every single time we come here the service is just so bad it makes the experience no good. I wish they had better help and I know it's hard to find help but it is not good for us when we have to ask 4 times for a glass of water from our server. And then if you need a condiment there is nobody to be found. The owner or whoever comes around with water which is nice but the over all service is just too poor to continue to keep supporting this place which sucks bc their food is so on point. We came for my birthday breakfast and it was definitely disappointing to say the least with the lack of service. I hope they can find help because I'd love to have good service w good food

Had a delicious breakfast at Nick's over the Labor Day weekend! I had the Greek omelette, my mom had the Nick's skillet, and my significant other and dad both got veggie skillets. Everything was delicious and the portions were filling. We also ordered some Oreo pancakes to split for "dessert" and they were excellent. I loved that the Oreos were mixed throughout the pancakes and not just sprinkled on top. Looking forward to our next visit!
