Try the Brooklyn Burger(no pickles, bacon, or tomato), and you will be satisfied! The place is a phenomenal spot for comfort food. From the mega-sized menu of sammiches, the quality service, and the sheer joy I get every time I take a bite of that sweet Bumpy Cake, I know that I will be stoked. I love this place. The New York Deli continues to go up on my list of favorite places. I have always loved a lunch here. Great soup, sandwiches, service, pickles and potato salad. I have never had a bad lunch here! Recently, our organization ordered catered sandwiches, chips, and assorted salads. It was amazing and everyone eating LOVED the variety. The wraps were amazing. Thank you for a solid dining experience, great service and wonderful deli sandwiches. We appreciate you doing our catered lunch orders. If you dine in the restaurant has a large number of booths, murals and tables. Extra parking is available across the street. Enjoy a great lunch!

I decided to try the New York Deli a few days ago when I realized my weekly grocery trip was overdue and needed to grab a quick dinner. The interior is what you can expect from a small diner or coney island. A pretty traditional, early 2000s array of four top tables and booths. The place was surprisingly busy for a weekday, which was promising to see. Their menu options were exactly what I was expecting, except for one major curveball: the prices. They were shockingly high. So much so, that we had a momentary apprehension of whether or not we even wanted to dine there. But we soldiered on, determined to savor what we had set our hearts on, albeit with a silent prayer that it would be worth every penny.When our plates arrived, the portions were laughable. Tiny sandwiches and tiny bags of better made potato chips for a whopping $18 each. Absolutely criminal. Such modest portions felt like daylight robbery. Flavor-wise, everything was decent, but when you consider the cost, it left a very sour taste in our mouths.One closing thought, the New York Deli might want to consider sourcing more reasonably priced ingredients or adjusting their profit margins because the food, though good, simply doesn't justify the current pricing. There's a reason their prices aren't listed on their website, so take this review as a word of warning.

Very disappointed :( recently moved into the area and have been wanting to try this place based on the great reviews. Ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and cheese fries for take-out tonight. My chicken Caesar wrap had very little Caesar dressing so it was super bland. The fries tasted very oily, like the oil in the frier needs to be changed, and the cheese sauce had a strange aluminum taste as if it came from an aluminum can and sat too long. Unfortunately ended up throwing everything away. Will give this place one more chance for dine-in, but I would avoid the items I mentioned above. Bummer :(
