I was expecting JABR (Just Another Burger Restaurant). It has so much more! Yes, it is a typical Coney Island, but the execution puts it above most of the competition.The Italian Sausage omelette was loaded with sausage - good flavor and the eggs were expertly prepared.I opted for pancakes as my side. The two large pancakes were excellent, not the gummy variety that is common at coney islands. The texture was very cake-ish and these cakes were just a little bit crispy.My dining companion ordered the half-pound burger and chicken soup. The soups are made in-house, tasty and served appropriately hot on a cold day. The burger was was fresh ground, never frozen. Good beef taste, a bit juicy, but insufficiently seared. It was served with hot, crispy French fries.The dining room and restroom was clean.The service was knowledgeable, swift and attentive.No WFi.Will I return? Yes. I wish I lived closer.

Solid food quick service & clean. Wish they had sourdough but that's no reason to knock it down ha.

We had breakfast here over the week-end on Sunday, November 4th. Breakfast was fine. Mom liked her waffle with bananas, strawberries and whip cream. There was plenty of fresh fruit on her waffle. I had sausage and an order of biscuits and gravy. Everything was served warm. Everything taste good. The establishment is pretty inside and there are three large tv's placed in various locations all turned to a different station...none of them tuned to sports...YEAH! The service was excellent. We will return to see what lunch and dinner items taste like.

I didn't cause the COVID shutdown. Ordered a decent sized lunch carry out 6-7 people, that I was delivering. Perhaps it was just frustration, over so few customers- but before I could even sign my credit card slip - the server gruffly told me not to forget that there is a line for tips. Kind of rude, I thought. Was told food was good.

2017-09-19. I need to preface this review with a warning that it's very narrow in scope. I had lunch with a friend, so I will be commenting on ONE dish only.New York Burgers & Grill is your typical diner with a super extensive menu ranging from soup & salads, to foods from all over the world; english fish n chips, belgium waffles, Greek salads and gyros, Italian pastas, polish pierogies, even asian stir fry's, and of course good ol' fashioned american flat grill and southern comfort foods.I felt like Greek, so I went with the gyros dinner platter. It was disappointing from the get go. The gyros meat was not shaved from the spit, it was strips cooked on the grill, sort of like spam. True, that's what Gyro pretty much equates to (processed meat), but presentation is key, and to make it blatantly look like spam is not the way to go. There wasn't much gameyness to the meat which usually equates to more beef than lamb, and it was decently spiced. The Pita was your fresh soft type. Char marks were visible, but they were clearly not freshly made. The tzaziki was the right consistency and the coolness of the cucumber shown through. The crinkle cut fries were not home made and cooked, but didn't really have any crispyness to them. Overall, a weak dish to me. 2 stars.Despite this poor review, keep in mind, this is ONE dish. $3 per extra tea bag? and a waitress that talks about you asking for extra tea bags to other staff loudly so she can be heard?? Folks if we are going to support local business let's support those that appreciate us and don't try to rip us off! We have supported this place for years but not anymore. There are those restaurants that truly appreciate your business and we will be going to those! Food is ok at best, service (all family) not great and twice in the past years of visiting there is has been mens short grey hair on our plate. Today their chefs were not wearing hats or hairnets! Beware!

Horrible horrible horrible! To start they messed up chicken tenders! Then we had a sausage and I have me food poisoning. Also the food containers kept falling apart. And it said it would be ready at 6:05 and we got it at 6:30! Never eating there again

Yelp said they were open but we found locked doors. Another couple showed up and said they had walked there. It was 9:30am and we were all expecting breakfast. The sign on the door indicated they should be open What is going on?

2 Greek salads and a rueben costed me $65??????? And They wonder why they weren't busy at 12:30pm. Never coming back
