Bagel was good. But I asked for vegetable cream cheese and I got plain. You had one job!

Service just a little on the rude side, but there is nothing like a real Bagel!!! IYKYK!

Rye Bagels - The King of Bagels.I'm from Chicago and have been living in DC for decades. One of the things that the Midwest has over where I'm living is that you can get Rye Bagels there and not here.I asked someone who owned a bagel bakery why these wonderful things were so scarce. He told me it's because rye bagels are, in his words, "an old man's bagel." OK, guilty as charged.I finally visited New York Bagel Baking during a recent trip to Detroit. They did not disappoint. I was able to order and pay for my dozen Rye Bagles (you get 13) online. Then, I walked into their shop and grabbed my order without waiting in line. Convenience and deliciousness, who could ask for more?Quick Bagel Tip: You can freeze bagels. When you want one, pop it into the microwave for 35 seconds (30 will work, but for me, 35 works better), and you're in business.

Great bagels but be careful with ordering doordash from them - take a look at the picture I posted - this is their idea of extra cream cheese. Are you kidding me lol

New York West Bloomfield knows how to make a bagel! Recently got an order of half a dozen bagels and 1/2 a pound of vegetable cream cheese. The bagels were $7 and the cream cheese was $6. Bagel Flavours were everything, garlic, jalapeño, rosemary, sesame and onion. Bagels were perfectly sized, not too small and not too big. Cooked to chewy perfection with a crispy crust and warm to the touch. If you like bagels you'll die for these. Approximately 20 Flavours of cream cheese to choose from. They'll even bring your order out to your car which is a major plus when it's 7:30am.Try it out, you won't regret it!

Since I was kid @ green school elementary over 20 years ago I've been eating these bagels and forever will be thee #1 bagel spot in Michigan (haven't eaten bagels out of state). No other spot that sells bagels could ever compare (let's argue). Every type of bagel I've tried here even if I would never consider ordering; the flavor has blown my socks off (not exaggerating) my cousins & I have always had morning meetups that consist of at least each flavor bagel along with regular & chive cream cheese, Every aspect of the New York bagel experience exceeds all my morning expectations ALWAYS!!! Stay open forever pleaseIf I'm ever running in for a personal bagel during any open hour it will be Chive Cream Cheese, Lox & Capers on either a Salt or Garlic Bagel, Toasted. Thank me later, pay me in bagels $tsk2020

ALMOST 4 YEARS SINCE I'VE MOVED TO MICHIGAN & I HAVE FINALLY FOUND AN EGG BAGEL!!!! I drove the 45 minutes each way from Ann Arbor to this location & it was so worth it. Very easy to pre-order for pick up via Toast/their website. Make sure you're picking the right location! The egg bagel did have poppyseed on it, but no matter - it's an egg bagel under all that! They also offer salt bagels, which is not as common either I was thrilled with the chive cream cheese. Great texture and flavor - added just the right amount of salt. I'm so glad that I no longer have to get bagels shipped from New York!!

OK, so this is a hard review to give three stars. I must say that I had a lock's bagel with cream cheese. The bagel type was wheat. I must say that the actual lox bagel was a five out of five, it was a customer service this morning 4.29.2022 ( I think the lady was African or Jamaican). The experience was very unpleasant while ordering. A nice greeting definitely goes along way in the morning when you're getting your coffee and getting some breakfast in your system for the first time. Seems as if the person taking the order had missed their breakfast and needed a cup of coffee. But to offset that there was a great gentleman elderly that I talk to you about growing up in the area! He seem to make the experience a little better. In all the bagel the salmon and the coffee were a hit.

Bagels are fresh but they do not have any flavor. Got an everything bagel and a garlic. No flavor at all. Cream cheese is basic. I would not recommend .

So I stopped at the New York bagel today having been in the area for Dr visit. Headed to another Dr appointment. Entered the store asked for a toasted bagel. Clerk said I can't toast it for you unless you purchase something on it. Being a diabetic and needing some thing to put in my body before my next procedure which requires anesthetic. So I asked to speak to the manager and he confirmed the fact that he would not take a simple plain bagel and toasted for me I have a problem with clerks who have an clue as to how to deal with a customer who needs a special request. Having been a restaurant owner for many many years certain customers have certain needs and if you choose to develop your business you need to make exceptions for ridiculous rules. Needless to say there is no way I will ever stop here again. If I could've given them a no star rating I would have so I wound up not being able to have anything as it was forbidden to have anything within a four hour timeframe of the procedure thanks New York bagel company for being useles
