New Peking Restaurant

The food was really good. We ordered the exact meals we would order at our regular place and were not disappointed. The lo mien noodles are larger than we are used to but still tasted great. The interior is a bit dated but is very clean. Our server was fantastic and other employees also joined in conversations. This will be our go to eat in Chinese joint!

It's pretty much very good authentic Chinese food. The food is cooked to order. The egg drop soup is first rate. The almond chicken is delicious. Excellent sweet and sour chicken. The service is excellent. The prices are very inexpensive 1. Go there! 2. Good food. 3. Good service. 4. Clean bathrooms!

Service was quick, not too many people, I'm one not to complain, my shrimp didn't taste like shrimp, in fact, it was more bread than shrimp, the hot tea tasted just like it looked in a small rusty container, the shrimp and lobster sauce didn't have much of a flavor, we were served quickly. The waitress must have had a long bad day, she took our order, brought our food and then left us the check.

I use to go to this place years ago and the food was never like what I got today! I did Ubereats the food was brought to me right away. Then didn't get the order right and what ended up with was so salty I can not eat it plus they filled my food up with peas and carrots. They sent me what they wanted me to have I'm guessing that's I got chicken fried rice I never seen the chicken cut like that. They send pork egg fu yung but the pork was on the side with a bunch of peas and carrots and the gravy is white and it was salty never never have I had it like that. I ordered wonton soup just horrible noodles way too thick broth too salty I can't eat that! The shrimp egg rolls I never seen anything like the whole inside is gill with something mushy then I see carrots who does that! The plum they watered it down so much it taste like nothing. I complained to Ubereats because I spend a lot to get this food they had me send them pictures they immediately refunded me minus the tip my Ubereats driver was excellent no complaints. I see all the good reviews and thinking people gotta get out the area more and get some better Chinese food and see the difference. I definitely will not order from there ever again! Restaurant with a lot of different choices of Chinese food - with quite a few tables. I can tell this restaurant has been here a long time both from the outside appearance and the name "Peking" instead of "Beijing" - yet it is likely they've updated the menu over time. They have all different options for spiciness for their dishes. Can get chicken, beef, pork, fish, or even vegetarian. Not a fancy place - just solid good Chinese food with very friendly and attentive service. Not a romantic place, but good for conversation.

Carry out: Hunan Chicken's (large thin pieces) veggies included lots of broccoli, also fresh mushrooms, water chestnuts, carrots, baby corn, bamboo. It was medium spicy (forgot to tell them how I wanted it). Pepper steak was plentiful and tender. The spring rolls were extremely greasy but crunchy and larger than expected. The vegetable fried rice was the best I've ever had - contained broccoli.

Great food and service! We had the sizzling rice soup, calamari and the dinner for two that included sweet and sour shrimp, egg rolls and a beef dish. The beef was so tender that the meat barely needed to be chewed. It was served on top of a bed of lettuce which gobbled up because it went so well with sauce. This is an excellent place.

We love this restaurant and have been going here all my life. Great chinese food, quick (only about 10 mins) to get a carry out, and great portions. Also, they are always so sweet and nice. Glad to see they're still keeping up the good work, we love New Peking!

This is the worst Chinese food i have ever had!!!! Absolutely do NOT recommend this place. Very greasy and tast was awful. How do you mess up fried rice?????

Hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant! I made an account just to review them and sing their praises because I absolutely love this place. I've been coming here for 20 years now since I was a kid, and can confidently say I've dined in here close to 100 times in my life. The food is consistent, the portions are generous, and the flavors are always on point.Standout dishes for me are their Spiced Sour Soup, which is a wonderful blend of peppery and tangy flavors, the Crab Rangoon with plum sauce, Bong Bong Shrimp or Yenking Chicken if you're looking for something fried, Tachien Pork, and Hunan Beef. Their pork and beef dishes have the most tender, melt-in-your-mouth pieces of meat, and their fried chicken dishes have generous chunks of chicken with crispy, but not too much breading. I'm not a huge tofu fan, but I think theirs is homemade and the Hot Bean Curd dish is delicious and will change your mind about tofu. Their service is solid and I am always greeted with a warm welcome. Food tends to come out in a timely manner and they also serve cocktails/beer/sake.The ambiance is nice for a Chinese restaurant and the place is always clean whenever I go. If you haven't been, you definitely need to give this place a try! It's worth the drive!
