I walked into this establishment on a Tuesday afternoon a few weeks ago to fulfill my samosa cravings. It's within walking distance from my parent's home and I figured I'd give a new place a try. I asked for an order of Vegetable Pakoras ($4) and six Lamb Samosas ($15) to go. Although the restaurant was pretty empty, it took about 30 minutes for my appetizers to arrive. I wouldn't have minded the long wait if the food tasted decent. The pakoras were average and the Lamb Samosas were extremely dry. The filling contained ground lamb mixed with minimal onions and spices. I should've chosen a more traditional samosa, like veggie or chicken. I'm just surprised such mediocre appetizers are being served to customers. I rated this place three stars because I didn't try the entrees. I hope the latter taste better, but I'll never know as I don't plan to visit this restaurant again.

My wife and I were hungry so decided to try Hamtramck out as we have a short drive. Indian food was on our tastebuds. They had a Buffett when we got there so we decided that was a good option to try the different foods. Pros: hardly anyone in there at 2:00 pm on this Sunday (04/30/2023) - The taste of the food was flavored well. Enjoyed the flavor. Cons: The food was lukewarm to cold. Had curry chicken that was terribly undercooked. It seemed like a recipe for some food poisoning. Now as of 6:00 pm there is no issues so that is a real plus. I do not like giving low stars but it is almost impossible not to do that in this case. The young lady was nice when we walked in but that was the end of any communication. Won't be back.

Ate here on 3/2 Saturday evening. Ordered chicken curry and rice. Food was from display and was cold. Chicken was horrible. I had to eat thru a knuckle to get meat. Don't even believe it was chicken!!! Curry was good. Rice was dry from sitting in display. The only good item was the garlic naan.I can't believe my experience.

It's nuts that this has such a low rating - this is the best Indian food I've had in my life. Granted, I'm not an expert or anything, but I know what delicious food is. I've sat down with a friend and we tried 6 dishes or so and everything was amazing.

Had the chicken biryani and the food was amazing and pretty good quantity. Raita, not too good but I didn't mind that.
