Mr. Kabob Xpress Grille & Catering Troy

This one hurts as I've been going here and to other locations for years and was my go to. I lived on the west coast for years and anytime I came back this was always a stop. The quality and portions are half of what they used to be even six months ago. $18 for a bowl with half a scoop of chicken, undercooked white rice, feta, and olives is insane. It's just not good anymore.

Love the spacious location compared to the old one. These guys have endured neighbors with good menus fading away for one reason or another and I gotta give Xpress credit for lasting. The grills are always running, food fresh, and a huge variety of combos. 4 solid stars

When something exceeds my food expectations in one area, it will get heavily bias the overall score. The food was excellent. The quantity was excellent. The value was excellent. The service was fast. You start with the spread which was various, including hummus (different kinds too!) and garlic spread. Then you move to veggies and carbs which they have rice and couscous. You can get both! Then you move to the veggies, and you can get however much, but they can only fit so much. Then the meat, best of which per then is chicken schwarma. That is what I got, and it did not disappoint! Just look at my photo for the amount that I received. $15.xx, which honestly is a great value for excellent food for this day and age. Plus you can get pita on the side. Quick service. will be back.

Tasty Mediterranean food! You can customize your bowl/wrap Chipotle style. The ingredients were fresh and they gave good portion sizes. I got the chicken cream chop which was pretty tasty. The jalapeno cilantro hummus was so good! Overall a quick, healthy bite!

Giving a 3 star! Only cause the service is always good as far as the employees go! But I just paid $20 for a bowl with just hummus!! Paid for extra meat also! Very disappointing! Legit only ate the chicken off the top!

I've been coming here as a regular ever since they opened up years ago. This is a go to spot for me for lunch, and I love how much flavor there is in the bowls and how it's a great healthy meal I can have on the go or after a workout. Definitely a top spot for me in Troy that I'll continue to go to.

I love Mr. Kabob in Berkley. When this location opened up in Troy I was ecstatic!!! It's perfect, you're in and out super quickly. And the food never fails. I am usually there once a week.

So much flavor!! Got two huge sandwiches and it fed me and two teens! My son said this was the best sandwich he's ever had and actually just brought it up again, we will definitely be back! Also staff was so accommodating and cut the sandwiches in half for us!

Decent Mediterranean food at a decent price average service we went at dinner time so they were busy

A worker walked out of the kitchen playing with his hair. When I was giving my order, and declined garlic, I was asked if it was because I was returning to work. I was very turned off my the lack of cleanliness and professionalism. I will not be returning for awhile.
