Motz's Burgers

I finally made it to Motz! Fantastic double cheeseburger slider and crispy fries! Great experience and great food!

The server was prompt and polite. They have a very basic menu. We chose to eat inside but most people there were waiting for carry out. The people filled up a large part of the dining area making it kind of crowded and it was a little odd trying to eat with a group of people just standing around. We had cheeseburgers, french fries and onion rings. They were your classic sliders, fries and onion rings. I thought everything was good, the burgers were ok. If I was going to get sliders, I would choose Bates over these, but if friends wanted to go here I would oblige.

Mott's is like one of the classic burger diners specializing in sliders. All the seating is at a long counter with swiveling high stools. We were very impressed with the service. The staff were friendly and kindly explained the menu and their recommendations. We all enjoyed the burgers and onion rings with their special sauce. One member of our part ordered the fish sandwich and I tried a bite and was impressed. Everything was flavorful and cooked just right. The prices were right too. They sell Guernsey lemonade which is always delicious. We will definitely come back soon. I just wish they were open for dinner.

After trying two of these sliders. I had to get on here to make this review. Cheese oozing out this burger, patties seasoned almost to perfection ( a lil salty). Grilled onions and pickles added is just icing on the cake. And for 2.75 a slider. You can't miss. Put away Bates and White Castle and go here. This place is great. The vibes are like a small old school burger joint. I ordered online and got my order with ease by their immaculate service. A little salty but I ain't worried. 4 stars for me and I will be back to try the chicken sandwich and get more sliders.

So let me start by saying that you will wait in line during lunchtime. It's no way around it. Don't be intimidated by the amount of people standing around. It's a small shop so nothing u can do about that. You have a long metal tabletop area that sits maybe 10 to 15, but that is the only seating you have. It's basically more carryout based. If you think of diner style dining, this would be it. The burger are great, excellent, can't say it any other way. Soft bun... grilled onions ...smashed Patty's...so worth it. The fries are salted and crispy. Onion rings are crunchy and full of flavor. The food does not miss.

Burgers are really good, the folks inside are always very nice. Usually pretty busy during the lunch hour.

Place packed Opening Day got 6 Double Happy National Cheeseburger Day 2023 this Monday, Hot New 2nd location on Plymouth Rd in Redford. Open M-F 11am till 5:45pm, I was in the house last Tuesday opening day, a mad house of orders. Not bad only 30 minutes, they ran outta Burger Meat 4 hours after opening. Thanks to the owners for the hospitality and the great crew working together. Find the new location on Google and Yelp. Detroit Burgers, I Voted MOTZ number one Happy National Cheeseburger DayOK folks being raised in the hood this place has always been number one with me, formally called Mott's it's still all the same great freshest juicy burgers and coffee they've always had. A small type white porcelain building with a dozen stools you get to see the racks of fresh some balls of burgers throw on a flat grill with heavy stringy onions Oh Yea. Directly across from Detroit's produce terminal where the movie Hoffa was filmed and next to the old 4th precinct of Detroit's finest police department. A must try for all you Carters and Telway fans. First time there and I loved it! Not an extensive menu, but what they do they do VERY well!!! Solid burger with great flavor. I will definitely be back again and again, lolOh, and try the blackberry shakerefreshing

My husband and I just had lunch here.Best beef slider I ever ate. Coupled with FF that I dipped in my vanilla shake. Omgosh , sooooo delicious. Burger dripping with flavor. Cooked to perfection. I am a first time customer. I will undoubtedly become a regular!The crew are sooooo nice! Dining area consists of a row of stools with a long counter. Area very clean. What a great way to begin the new year!

The customer service there was excellent! they were extremely busy when I walked in and still a staff member from behind the counter acknowledged me with respect, kindness, patience, and a smile. I ended up ordering one of their Beef Sliders and fries. Wow! the burger and cheese melted right in my mouth, and the fries were nice and hot. I am definitely coming back to this place again. The service, hospitality, and food were all too Awesome!!!!! Motz' Burgers Rocks!
