We tried to go there to watch the NFC championship game and we arrived 3 hrs before game and when we walked in all the tables said reserved and every empty bar seat said reserved as well. The place is huge inside and literally Almost empty when we walked in, what a joke and won't be back. Someone said they had some event booked for that day for months, but even so you could have changed the date as that game was a huge event.

First visit today. Funny this place has been 3-4 different places in the 20 yrs I've lived out here. I get tired of the same old places. Anyway Dee was our waitress, she was so nice and funny. Make sure you ask for her. We had a small shawarma pizza and the Hot Rod burger and fries. The pizza was excellent and the burger and fries equally as good. The prices seemed pretty reasonable too. Hope this time it stays

This is such a lovely hidden gem. We usually go out to eat at the same place all the time. I told my husband that I wanted to try something new and this place popped up. I saw a lot of good reviews. I am not going to lie, I was skeptical after I saw the super cheap prices. I absolutely love bar food - mozzarella sticks, loaded fries, and pretzels are my favorite. As soon as you walk in, there is a sign that tells you to seat yourself. We decided to sit in a booth that was very spacious. We saw these doors that lead to a bowling alley, which is super awesome. Our waitress was super nice and gave us time to decide on our order. I wanted to try everything. I decided to go with the mozzarella sticks and fries, so that I could try the fried oreos. My husband ordered the super burrito. The food came out super quick. The mozzarella sticks were pretty good. She even brought out some extra ranch cups for me. The super burrito was massive and came with a massive side of beans and rice. My husband ordered the one with chicken and asked for two sides of sour cream. We were not expecting there to be tons of shredded chicken loaded up inside. He really loved it, and it was so big that he couldn't finish the rest. I was super excited for the deep fried oreos. They were super delicious, but I only have one thing I would change. I would love for it to have a little more ice cream. The scoop was super tiny and there were 5 fried oreos. Next time, I may ask to pay for an extra scoop! We will definitely be coming back in to try some more items on the menu. We really want to go bowing too some time!

I wanted to do a quick update review that I just experienced tonight which I kinda disliked Went in for Taco Tuesday, grabbed the Nacho Platter which is ALWAYS great... But.....They increased the price from $10 - $11 and charge... so that's not totally the problem The issue is less overall came out for a higher price.... Please tell me that Motor Cafe is not jumping on this ridiculous bandwagon because we really need a great local restaurant... So I'm lowering my star to 4.... I'm hoping my next return that the portion stay the same as it was when it was $10

This is a hidden gem of New Baltimore / Chesterfield area. You can take your family here for a party large or small. And the best part is you don't have buyers remorse like at so many restaurants these days. Staff is great: friendly, out of their way helpful for my family with 2 young kids. Prices are VERY competitive, they're undercutting the competition out there. Yet the food is really really good. You need to come here just for this fact alone. The outside looks a lil sketch, but soon as you walk in, you say "wow" because this place is cool AF with it's ambience. This place simplifies the food menu. They're not trying to shock you with a rare combination of hard to find ingredients. They're just delivering a quality meal at a competitive price. Get their nachos. I didn't realize I wanted to eat chicken tenders like a 4 year old does, until I came here. French fries are great. Taco platter tastes like homemade taco night - which is fine by me. Their beer selection and prices are phenomenal. I can feed my family till we're in a food coma, and still leave with leftovers and not regretting how much I spent. Come here. Just do it.

Came in after bowling with our two toddlers. We ordered the kids chicken and fries, two small pizzas and an order of wings. The waitress brought us side plates for pizza and all three of them were dirty. I mean the bottoms were covered in food and sauce. The kids chicken was beer battered and rubbery. Not sure how many little kids like beer battered food. We asked for the Jamaican jerk SAUCE for our wings on the side. It was not actually a sauce and our wings were served with a side cup of seasoning. The cheese pizza was decent. The supreme pizza with no olives seemed frozen and still had small tiny pieces of black olives stuck on it. Would NOT return. The bowling alley pizza used to be good. This was not good at all.

Service was excruciatingly slow for how few people were there. Of all the tables there was only one with people at it and a maybe 6-10 people total at the bar. The bar tender would stop and randomly talk to people who were obviously friends, instead of tending to people. My drink was empty for 10 minutes and she walked past me multiple times I tried everything except screaming at her to get attention. It was my first empty bottled beer so it wasn't a low key cut off either. This happened again with the check. I had my payment in hand when she sat It on the table and then just walked away to go chat it up. I had my money ready in hand because I wanted to leave. I was on the verge of just putting a $10 bill down on a ~$30 tab and leaving. Never been one to dine and dash but it was ridiculous. I'm not waiting forever to pay when I was trying to make a speedy exit to begin with. She got lucky she saw me stand up and come over.Very lousy, don't recommend. Food was alright. Nothing amazing. Price was okay. Beer was cold. Mediocre spot, nothing to write home about.

This review is about to be long, so buckle up.I have been a hardcore regular of this place for a very, very long time. I have always thought the owner Mike was a decent guy, short with me every time, but nonetheless a decent guy. To the point that I used spare parts from my business to build him a VH1 guitar for his other venue Diesel Concert Lounge. It's the one hanging up behind the bar when you first walk in.His band Sunset Blvd was playing at Diesel and one of the guitarists, Drew, was scheduled to be playing one of my guitar builds to trial for the show. So naturally I asked about table reservations to make life easy. I was told that they are not taking reservations and it was first come first serve. Nothing was even posted on Motor Cafe's Facebook page. The only information was posted on Sunset Blvd's page and it said to "Come early to get a great seat"Well being that I had a personal guitar for them to use at the show I got there before sound check at 1:45pm to drop off the guitar and score a decent table for the large group of friends I had scheduled to meet there.Sound check finally happened about 4pm and then around 4:30 PM RESERVED TABLE SIGNS STARTED GOING OUT. I got booted from the modest sized table I had pinned down for my party. So I asked about what was going on. (Edit Mike claims I did not ask. This is completely false) I was told "We weren't suppose to take reservations but at the last minute decided to"Excuse me, but why was this information not publicly posted? This is crap. One of your die hard regulars is now thrown under the bus completely. I and my friends always eat here on a weekly basis, sometimes multiple times per week depending on how work goes that week. Now I am just cast aside without even a place to sit down to eat dinner at.I told my friends not even to show up. A group of guys that easily spend up to $100 a piece on a night like this. I guess screw that business right?I left before the show even started. Will be back after to pickup my gear. This place is a joke ran by an owner who only takes himself serious. Not even his own restaurant or concert venue. Go somewhere else to eat and drink where your business is truly appreciatedAnd yes I deleted my previously positive review, backing this place from the negative reviews. The other negative reviews are true. I've experienced the same situations myself, but put it behind me because I knew the owner. Key word being KNEW the owner.EditI was even threatened after I left this review by the owner upon going to pick up my gear, as previously stated. I offered to let things cool down, delete this initial review and speak to him cordially a different day. He would not let me leave the premises, his staff had to hold him back and walk me out away from him. Video evidence will support this scenario. In a public setting he threatened me if he ever saw me again and I plan to be placing a police report with Chesterfield PD about this incident for them to look into. I hate wasting time and energy over something like this, but this guy is genuinely unstable if this is how he gets over a review. For your own enjoyment and safety, DO NOT GO HERE
