Peach cobbler (lg) what in the world is this ? This isn't even cooked and the taste is so distasteful and a waste of money.
This is what you call Peach cobbler (lg)? This isnt even done I'm grandma would turn in her grave if she seen this crap or tasted this.

Their smothered porkchops were nothing short of "gat-damn, this mess is good as hey-yell!!". The beans and rice were divine, and the mac and cheese was quite pleasing. Full-blown soulfood. The following week, I got chitterlings. I know--pig's intestine , Nykol? But this was some damn good shit. Pardon the gross pun--actually, these chitterlings were very clean, which is why I tried them (only the second time I've ever eaten them). These chitlins were tender, and well balanced with seasoning and pork flavor. I ordered a lb., which was more than enough.The staff is friendly, helpful and engage with their customers. The owners seem to operate on Christian ideology ; religion is not my cup of tea. However, I can overlook the gospel music long enough to get an order of chicken wings. Hurry up about it please. I may not believe that souls exist, but I definitely believe in eating good soul food.

Craving soul food after a funeral and thought of past food from Mookey's. Rib tip dinner was pricey at $25 for what was provided. Originally I had 6 pieces of meat in the meal but I thankfully checked my bag as directed to on the signs. I inquired and the container was filled with what I should have gotten as a dinner. Maybe the staff member was new that initial did my order. They were polite. More than 1/2 was tough, some even so much not edible. Disappointing because I really wanted some rib tips. The cornbread was dry and crumbly. Cornbread is not difficult or long cooking so I'm not sure why I'd get old cornbread midday on a Saturday. Or they need to retool the recipe. In my head, I would think that portions would be sampled by the cook to ensure consistency, but I've never worked in a fast past restaurant so I don't know the process. Sides: dressing was good and not overly salty. Yams had too much sugar for me.I bought another meal for someone to eat and I hope it was better. A 1/2 chicken meal was $20. Overall, not with the $25+ tax I paid today. The staff was pleasant. The area was kept clean. However, the meat was a failure. I would be fine paying $25 of the meat was cooked correctly. I would not recommend going here for bbq as they have a not cash return policy. It is store credit or a gift card even if the food is poorly made. Likely need to go to a bbq specific restaurant next time. I have no plans on driving way back to the restaurant and just count it as a loss. The prices are equivalent to sit down restaurants without the service or quality.

I was told I was ordered from the wrong menu clearly this is what popped up when I search. the catfish was definitely not worth 20$ and the Mac & cheese was full a grease, smelled awful and distasteful. definitely won't be returning

First time trying the oxtails and smothered pork chops was well seasoned with a great gravy. The Mac and cheese was ok to me but don't cut my head off I'm not a Big Mac and cheese eater , the collard greens and black eye peas were delicious also the dressing was just ok also and the peach cobbler is ok too. Check them out they are on the delivery apps also

I bought food and it had bugs in it I asked for a refund and was told I could only get a voucher I told them I didn't want it I would never eat there again and they refused and left me at the front count food not safe to consume especially for elderly people with weak immune system.It's unsanitary and the lobby is even dirty

Do not ever eat here. Its worst than prison food.Everything was tasteless and dry. The absolute worst food Ive ever eatin in a long time.I got the chicken dinner. Dry unseasoned mushy fried chicken, Nasty ass dressings. Watery yam. Horrible
