Monica's Baker Boy

Monica's is my jam! The best spot in Monroe for authentic doughnuts. They have two cute locations, one in Monroe & one in Frenchtown. They also serve up freshly baked goods; hoho (and other variety) cupcakes, breads, cookies, Rice Krispie treats, and so much more! The service is always friendly & speedy - always very helpful and patient. Be sure to give Monica's a try- you will love it!

Excellent pastry. Community oriented for events. Apple fritter are the best. They have a second store on Dixie Hwy which so convenient for us.

Bakery is amazing! I have tried most of there donuts and everyone was delicious! Same goes for their breads

Monica's is now a morning tradition in Monroe. You cannot find a sweeter place to enjoy all your favorites, and their confectionery delights are unequalled. Their apple-fritter bread, donuts by the half or full dozen, and a fresh cup of their famous flavored coffees what a great way to start a day.

Paczki's done exactly the right way. No other bakery or chain store can beat Monica's.She truly rivals Hamtramck's Polish bakeries, and I've been to plenty.

I absolutely addicted to their apple fritters, however my waistline isn't. Their cannoli's are the best I've ever had same with the baklava! I would give this place more stars if I could

Love their donuts, but I crave them at all times of the day, not just early. Guess they can't make them but once per day. Hate when I walk in at 2pm & the donut case is all but empty. ITS A BAKERY !!! Sure they don't want much left at closing, but c'mon, not only are you disappointing customers, but losing potential profits too.

Bought a pumpkin roll and coconut cream pie. Pure garbage. The coconut cream pie tasted like tanning lotion. I took one bite and threw the whole pie in garbage. The pumpkin roll was hard as hell. You could tell they've been frozen for months. 40 dollars worth of garbage. You all need to just close down and retire because you sure don't know how to make quality items just how to rip people off. You don't deserve the 1 star that I had to give for this review
