Monarch Market Cafe

Such a cute little cafe and mini market. The muffin was huge with so many chocolate chips on top and inside the muffin. It has a sugary coating on top as well. The muffin was moist. I ordered a latte as well. The service was fast.

they have a nice selection muffins, bars and cookies plus a full menu of other things. the gentleman that waited on me was very nice and a very good barista, when i asked for the price on some of their specialty liqueur, he wasn't sure, but got me the information promptly. this place is pure Royal Oak, brick walls, wood beams merchandise to sell , great music (if you like white pop).i'll be back.

The 11 Mile windows are wide open, so it's a bit cool inside. Ordered a Huck Finn hot tea, straw banana smoothie, egg, bacon and cheese bagel bomb and Sammy too for his birthday breakfast. $30.90. Drinks are out quickly. Too quickly. Smoothie was out in a flash. Frozen concentrate or maybe a powder? Made me wonder since it seemed like minutes for the drinks. The food takes a bit longer. Expect about a 15+ minute wait or so. The smoothie tops and the drink carrier needs to be sturdier and stand on their own. 1/3 cup of the smoothie dumped over easily and onto the passenger floor in the car. The bagel sandwich and the Sammy were both still warm, wrapped in foil, that helped.

This place is so cute and they have a good variety of goods. Great vibes with the market integrated into the coffee shop. The Mariposa latte I ordered was phenomenal! I'd go back again just for that alone. I also ordered a "bagel bomb" (specifically bacon green onion) and it was ok, the bagel was pretty tough and it lacked cream cheese, stuffed bagels are tricky. But I still ate it and I would probably try a different flavor next time.The person at the register was very welcoming and the service was great. I can't wait til I'm back in the area to go again!

This place had been our list for quite awhile on our quest to find good gelato in Michigan and we are glad we visited because we finally found our favorite gelato spot in the State to date. There were half a dozen flavor choices and a 5 ounce cup was only $4, so by far the least expensive and best deal we have encountered. They filled up the cup and even did two flavors. I had the coffee chip and the cherry. The ice cream was very stretchy and surprisingly creamy and so flavorful. The coffee was extremely coffee forward, like a nice dark roast and I liked the crisp chips. The cherry was so good with chunks of cherries and a nice honey swirl flavor. I would go back in a second to get more. The kids ordered drinks. One got a matcha latte with peppermint and one got a red velvet frappe. The frappe was fine, a bit light in flavor, but it was finished quickly with a happy customer. This is a cute little shop with a nice steady stream of customers, good parking, right near a tiny park for parents who want to get the kids a treat. The workers were friendly and helpful. The sandwiches sounded delicious. I would love to try one. This is a great hidden gem.

Super cute little cafe. It's out the way. Plenty of seating safe. I sat by the window so I could take some time from my electronics and just watch the cars drive by. I have a vanilla chai latte and it was really good. I had a bagel with the cream cheese inside, I wish it had more cream cheese but other than that it was good. If I'm in the area, I'd definitely go back. Especially in the summer.

What a cool looking place! A market, coffee shop, bfast/lunch, pastries and great staff! We had deliciously tasty coffee, Mediterranean wrap and my 19 month old granddaughter LOVED the banana strawberry smoothie. Best part was that my daughter paid! Right next door is a terrific playground where we ate, drank and played. Great place!

Super cute and inviting environment. The people working here are kind and helpful! Good vibes all around. We got a raspberry bagel bomb, chicken bacon ranch wrap, 5 speed burrito, smoothie, and a gf banana chocolate muffin. All delicious!!! My latte was amazing too.

Stopped getting coffee from here, wasn't my flavor profile. GF goodies are nice, except I got a rock hard brownie today. I let them know & threw it out. Super gross

How is it that I've missed this little cafe market that's easily accessed off the Mile Road; open early; clean; friendly and serves up some delicious local coffee roasts and mochas?? What a grand morning find! My companion's only wish was that the wine available for purchase be consumable in the cafe.
