I am sorry, but this is some of the worst food I have ever tried, ever, in my life! Ever! I can't even believe this place is still open and has a fan base. My family told me it was real old school, but I am old school, I love old school, I have lived old school food. This is not it. The only thing, only thing I liked was their egg rolls. Those were crispy and delicious. Each dish floated in water sauce that was non-descript in color and flavor. Their almond boneless chicken sauce looks like raw egg yoke. I could not even try their curry chicken, it did not look enticing to even put in my mouth. Nothing was memorable. Everything was oddly soupy. Luckily, I felt fine the next day. I did not want to tell my family I did not like the food, but they guessed it was not my favorite. I guess the person working here was nice, my family picked it up, so I do not have a description of the place. I just will not be eating this food again.

This is your warning to run away far as you can. Bad attitude, small portions, food was not good at all. They lost a customer before they even gained one. Please do not go here, save your time and money .

A friend recommended this place for their lower prices so I stopped in for some lunch combinations. General Tso's shrimp was mostly (mushy) breading and very little shrimp. My kids' sautéed vegetables was much better. I may stop in again to see if things can be ordered without breading.

I usually judge Cantonese restaurants by either sweet & sour chicken or almond boneless chicken, but I felt like having mu shu chicken instead. I ordered that, dinner rolls & crab rangoon.First, the crab rangoon did not have much filling. I kind of picked it apart to see what was in it. And I have no idea what the liquid was that came with it; it had almost no flavor and it was definitely not plum sauce like I usually have.I'm a sucker for Parker House rolls. These were big, as they should be, but they were pretty dry, and didn't really have that sweetness that they usually have. The mu shu was...bland. Not a lot of flavor in that, either. And the pancakes were very dry on the edges -- not the moist wrappers that they should be.On the upside, the portions were big and the price was low. I will give them another try, but I was not impressed with this visit.

This is a small mom and pop carry out restaurant. So it pains me to say, I was underwhelmed. I was glad to have only purchased the lunch portions. The General Tso chicken was tender but the sauce was a little weird and thick with a slight ketchup taste. The rice was flavor less. The egg roll was good and veggie. The packet of hot mustard was a odd brownish green color. So needless to say i was not going to it anything in a packet which included the soy sauce. The chicken chop suey was more of the same. My taste buds like dancing unfortunately this was a two left feet debacle.

First off, their prices are crazy low compared to any other restaurant in the area, so that's a draw for a lot of people.Pretty decent Cantonese food, but stay away from what they call "Hunan" or "Szechuan." Their Kung Pao Chicken should be called, "Kung Pao Celery with hints of Chicken." After picking out all the celery, the container was less than half full. After one spoonful of Hot and Sour Soup, we immediately poured the rest of it down the drain.Stick to "classic" Cantonese food and you'll be satisfied here.

MITZI'S has wonderful food, we always get carry out from them. In response to the complaint from Kenneth S. when you order a combo plate the portion are always smaller because it is less money and includes a egg roll. Since your obviously a big eater so next time don't order a combination plate, because you seem to be a larger eater! They are generous with their portions!

Reasonably priced non- greasy tasty chinese food! I have to admit to being pleasantly surprised. Good size portions but not over oversized like with some takeouts and we had sweet and sour chicken, Szechuan chicken and beef with Broccoli. The veggie fried rice had real veggies (carrots and even broccoli!) -and the sweet and sour sauce is relatively light and more sour than sweet which is great for me as I don't like the usual thick overly sweet stuff.

Can't beat the location for me. I can walk over to pick up lunch or dinner. The main reason I love it is the food. Best I have had in a very long time. Huge menu and great prices. My "go to Chinese carry out now ". Give it a try. I think you'll enjoy.
