Found a wonderful little gem for lunch when I was in Northville, MI for work. Located at street level in a new office building near the center of downtown Northville, it has both interior and patio tables. This tidy place was exceptionally clean and inviting, with a very friendly staff.I had the combination special ($12) which is pictured (it also includes your choice of various sodas, juices, etc. in cans or bottles, selected from an open refrigerated cabinet). The combination started with a pair of large, well-filled samosas, accompanied by a side of green/hari chutney. While the tips of the samosas were admittedly singed, it had no effect on their wonderful flavor. The filling was complex and succulent, and the chutney packed a kick from what were likely Serrano peppers. The Chicken Tikka Naan Panini was also excellent. The chicken was tender and tasted as if it had been marinated. It was in a delicate sauce with hints of garlic turmeric, and ginger. To use the naan as a panini is a great take on a standard Indian dish, which was done very well. While you order at the counter, the "courses" are brought out to you individually, hot from the kitchen. This was a great surprise and the lunch was outstanding. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend this place. The only sad thing for me was that it's 40 miles from my home, because I really want to try a number of other things on the menu.

Great place for coffee, tea and Panini's! This is like a fast casual Indian café they have a lot of curry and spiced dishes but as wraps, salad or Panini form. They also have a nice outdoor patio you can sit at, it is tucked away but it still feels like it is right in the center of downtown Northville. Lots of teens working here and they seem very annoyed to help anyone who walks in

My partner and I both got paninis. I had paneer, she had chicken. We tried both, they were awesome. She's never had paneer before and she liked it a lot. The lentil was great, too. Will definitely have y'all again. The reason I'm writing this review is unrelated to the food, though. I just want to say thank you to whoever made our dinner. We ordered delivery today because we were both down for the count. She's sick and I just got news that my dear friend passed away. It might seem small, but the little notes made us smile. We needed it. Thank you.

Very clean, but i think it is "out of the way". It would do better if it was downtown. There're really trying hard to be great.

This is an adorable family, owned coffee shop with great Indian sweets as well! I dropped by here and got a masala chai that really hit the spot. They have the classic sweets or mithai as they are called. I was not really feeling something sweet that day, so I did not try them. However, they looked amazing! The service was wonderful. The seating here is limited, but there is enough for small groups.

So great to have an affordable cafe option in Northville! Love every food and beverage product I've tried from Mithai and Chai, especially their samosas and spiced coffee :-) Always friendly service and quick takeout, or a nice place to sit down and hang out over a drink :-)

Indian-like food. the salad was fresh, but tandoori spices seemed "faked".. all packaged as if to go, in plastic, even if eating in. Better as take-out. Service is tepid. staff disappears into kitchen whenever they can. They have a buzzer for customers to press with a hand-written sign and will point it out to you when you try to wave them down. I wondered why I left a tip. ambiance matches the plasticware, ok for a quick lunch but not a place to linger.
